I am a fairly recent cinvert to scarves, and now feel underdressed if I don't wear one with my jacket. I just can't choose and wear belts though, other than through beltloops on jeans. Would like to be able to wear one over a cardi.

aftereight · 11/10/2012 16:41

Just seen your links, and funnily enough I wear my Alex Monroe bee necklace most days, it goes with virtually all outfits Grin

I counted my skinny belts the other day and I have 17. oops

SeveredEdMcDunnough · 11/10/2012 16:51

No. It makes me feel like a Christmas tree.

And they get in the way.

I love jewellery but I never seem to want to wear it. I just keep it and stroke it from time to time.

And I cannot abide scarves.

Hopefully · 11/10/2012 16:53

Yes, but only since I found that I need BIG accessories. Small scale looks too young and silly on me. Accessories really make an outfit, if you get them right.

Love the AM necklace.

swiftybaby · 11/10/2012 16:55

I wear my Alex Monroe bee with everything

Mominatrix · 11/10/2012 17:01

Yes. I dress pretty plainly, so rely on accessories to add a bit of oomph. Always a scarf/shawl, chunky bracelets or bracelet stacks, and necklaces. Although I don't wear much colour, I love colourful accessories. It is amazing what just changing accessories does to an outfit.

Dollydowser · 11/10/2012 17:16

hopefully any links to your bold accessories? I like the sound of those?

Dollydowser · 11/10/2012 17:18

Random question mark, sorry!

AmberNectarine · 11/10/2012 17:20

I have an Alex Monroe rose gold shrimp I wear a lot, or a Mulberry fox head. I also wear my big rose gold Michael Kors watch and that's me done really. Sometimes I'll wear a belt and usually a scarf. Don't go a bundle on jewellery...

Hopefully · 11/10/2012 17:23

Away from computer at the moment dolly, but will link later on Smile

Vagaceratops · 11/10/2012 17:25

I always wear scarves.

WhoKnowsWhereTheTimeGoes · 11/10/2012 17:33

No, I wear the same silver jewellery all the time and never wear belts or scarves. I've tried scarves but they look cluttered if my hair is down (shoulder length), aging if it is up and they always shift about and end up looking untidy. I can't cope with bangles at all, they dig into my arm when I am writing or using the computer. I agree that accessories can make a big difference (and my few bits of silver are chosen with great care and are nice) but just don't seem practical for me.

Itsgottabebags · 11/10/2012 17:38

My goodness YES!
I love accessories. I dress pretty plainly so accessorise to up the style factor.

I love scarves, bags and brooches!
I love my V expensive ( for what it is) japanese designer necklace! I was so sad when I thought I had lost it!

October1st · 11/10/2012 17:48

I do love silk scarves and I have a jersey 1000 kisses scarf from avoca I like.I have many necklaces but seldom wear them .I like earrings not too dangly but quite sparkly.I like jewellery with birds on it

noddyholder · 11/10/2012 17:48

I do wear them but don't like over kill. I like wearing no accessories at all a lot of teh time I love that stark plain look

suburbandream · 11/10/2012 17:53

Love that necklace! I do like a scarf, although yesterday I managed to get my latest favourite one caught in the retractable dog lead, then after I'd freed it I twice caught it in the zip of my bag and finally got it tangled in a thorny bush on the way home from school Blush

MarshaBrady · 11/10/2012 17:59

I do big scarves, cashmere or angora. Watch and rings. Might do a skinny belt.

Never wear earrings or necklace. Can't really do silk scarves. I am at opposite ends to the statement jewellery.

noddyholder · 11/10/2012 18:00

I don't like big jewellery either the sort of things social workers wear big chunky things from far flung holidays Hideous!

MarshaBrady · 11/10/2012 18:02

Lol

MarshaBrady · 11/10/2012 18:07

My sister can wear amazing green stuff, vintage jewellery type thing and it looks good.

We're so different, considering.

SrirachaGhoul · 11/10/2012 18:12

I like semi-precious dangly earrings which I get from The Peach Tree on Etsy (they're brilliant) and cozy cashmere and wool scarves in the Fall and Winter (with my beloved puffy vests). If I wear any other accessories I feel like a kid playing dress up, so I don't (even though I like them on other people).

noddyholder · 11/10/2012 18:44

I like pashminas and do wear a vintage ring. Like ear rings with no other jewellery
