I'm shocked by the amount of fraeks who wear pants over tights

Last night I wore a pair of tights that reached my bra line fgs. that was weird enough

Right, well I've got this far and only just realised that by pants you mean knickers

My mum used to wear giant black knickers over her tights, regular ones underneath. Ugh, sweatsville.

I can't bear the feeling of tights under trousers; it just makes me want to itch.

In fact, I prefer Hold Ups if possible. It was stockings and suspenders when I was at school (fnarrr...).

Anyway, who are these freaks of whom you speak, Bonny?

Tights under jeans also stop knee sagging and aid movement. They act as a kind of lubricant betwixt the leg and the jean.

I wear tights under trousers when it's very cold.

But I can't imagine wearing pants over tights!!! It would feel so wrong!

Just buy some Falke opaques - they stay up really well and last for ages and ages.

I was just going to say, sounds like a recipe for a yeast infection if you ask me. I did just suggest pants over tights to my nine year old dd, who has tights issues, and she looked at me like I'd suggested she wear a pair of pants on her head to school.

Wow, the things I learn on here. Tights over pants, wearing two pairs, under jeans etc. As I tend to avoid wearing tights why anyone would do the above confuses me

My young and slender and very beautiful sil is wearing 2 pairs of tights at work atm. She says it is because she is growing her leg hair for a waxing and, as she is dark, they show up through one pair of sheer tights.

2 bras is typically for big knockers, to keep em under control.

I only wear stay up stockings, much better all round. No thrush, they fit properly, and if you get a hole in one, you just throw one away so cheaper in the long run too

I wear a sports bra over an underwired bra, for sportings. Reduces bounce, innit? Makes me look deranged and slightly like an over-lagged boiler, but hey ho.

Tesco! I've got 34" legs and am an 18. Even when I was younger (and thinner) I've never found tights that didn't need an extra pair of pants to hold them up. Then I tried a pair of Tesco finest/luxury 140 denier XL tights and they were so long they actually stayed up. No baggy crotch at all. Bliss. Not sure what other versions they do though.

I used to live and die in stockings when I was younger - I'd even layer pairs for interesting colour effects, but gave up after I had DS1 - saggy post pregnancy belly and suspenders belts just didn't work.

Spanx are a waste of time, just push the fat bits into other areas and are sweaty.

I sometimes wear two pairs of opaques in winter - means I can wear a skirt/dress and still be cosy. I find the really high denier tights give me funny ankles

has anyone mentioned knickers, tights, and then ...... A GIRDLE?
