The Worst perfume ever!

Was in HOF today and as i have no money at the moment to spend (despite their sale) decided to cheer myself up with a spray ( or two) of their posh perfumes. Big Mistake- sprayed Serge lutyens Tuberose Criminale- and it was!!!! Well the smell was criminal- like camphor, moth balls mixed with wintergreen , that awful muscle rub stuff. Jesus wept and it lasts and lasts and lasts. Can't kill it off, despite Annick Goutal Ninfeo Mio on my other wrist. You have been warned.....Though i do dare you!!!

I tried something in debenhams the other week, that made me smell like an old woman, and I couldn't get rid of it either. Made me feel ill.

I think KISS perfume from the Kleeneze catalogue must come a very close second though...

Oh god, I have 2 contenders - Thierry Mulger Angel - not so much a horrible smell, but something in it gives me a migrane.

But once I made the stupid stupid mistake of spritzing on YSL Paris without checking and that is old lady to the MAX!

Oh I hate that! I tried a Tom Ford one (I think it was) once and I actually felt ill by the end of the day when I got home. It smelt burnt!

MrsCog Are you me??? I detest Angel -it too gives me a migraine and YSL Paris smells of synthetic roses! But neither come clise to Tuberose Criminalle!!!

Ah my favourite for the worst perfume contender is Donald Trump's fragrance called, as is befitting his modest demeanour,...."Trump the Fragrance". The reviews of it are hilarious Amazon

I love angel!!! Worst is tweed!

No, no, no, the worst perfume EVER is Halston Catalyst. Ancient curry doused in cheap aftershave. And the lasting power is, as usual with something vile, incredibly long!

The worst one ever is Lush 'smell of weather turning'. I thought it sounded a lovely idea so sprayed it on liberally - I smelled it and retched. It's truly foul and I used a whole packet of baby wipes washing it off! Please smell it just so you understand!

I love Angel too. I really wanted to like Thierry Mugler's Womanity, because I adore the bottle. But it smells like Cif .

I like Angel, but I once rashly sprayed some Sex and the City perfume on myself (as a joke) and I did regret it.

Lancôme Poeme is absolutely vile. Makes me feel sick.

an Ex boyfriend once bought me a bottle of Tiffany perfume It was vile. Really strong and sickly. No doubt he thought he was being terribly posh buying something from Tiffany, but it was over priced and smelt like old ladies handbags. I was actually quite offended he thought it appropriate for me, at the time a nubile 25 year old.

I loathe Anais Anais - only perfume to give me a headache.

I love YSL Paris though, it smells of my mum!

I bought some Shamilar (sp?) on sale and I think it smells of an old lady who smokes 60 a day but can't put my finger on why!

Clinique Happy smells beautiful in the ottos or on my mum - on me it smells like domestos multi surface cleaner

Chloe (the 1975 one, not the gorgeous one) smells like peach air freshener in a naice downstairs loo.

After smelling Catalyst I stuck my nose in my cat's litter tray for olfactory relief.

I worked with a girl who used Angel and smelt wonderful.

It smells awful on me.

Angel smells like chocolate on me and I hate smelling of food. I want to smell like a bunch of posh flowers, not Like I've done a shift in Thorntons and haven't got home yet.

Both Angel and CK Obsession make me feel queasy.
