the cork wedges.

I think she's lovely I really do but please love - get some new shoes.

It's less the wedge that's naff, more the corkiness of the wedge. Cruise shoes.

William looks smashing in his search and rescue outfit. He should think about wearing that more IMO. Or his polo breeches.

KatieScarlett2833 · 12/09/2012 18:19

I will have to be cut out of my luvvly pink suede cork wedges when I'm dead.

They are from Clarks and are heaven on my feet and great for my shortarse carcass.

So ner.

SloeFarSloeGood · 12/09/2012 19:14

I'm looking forward to her maternity wardrobe

MrsCampbellBlack · 12/09/2012 19:28

Oh enjoygold - I so agree. Although I thought he did look nice with his tie off and top button undone.

I feel for her and the pressure she's going to be under to reproduce now and imagine having to do visits etc if you were suffering from mornng sickness and then meanies like me suggest she splurges on some new shoes.

What did we think of her Prabal Gurung dress?

I thought it was a quantum leap above her other outfits although the shoes left a lot to be desired.

dexter73 · 12/09/2012 19:33

We'll know when she is pregnant as she will give up the wedges and start wearing Fitflops!

MrsGuyOfGisbourne · 12/09/2012 19:50

Boggler, oh yes, agree about the hair. Lose some! Or at least do t up netter, maybe like Tina in Corries's Grin Looking at the pic it seems a shame she looks about 20 years older than she should, eye makeup ages her.

KateSpade · 12/09/2012 20:12

Like another poster said. Wedges = fine Corkiness = not fine.

I don't care who their buy. Burn them. Its the same for Espadrille wedges. Oh dear, I'm Angry thinking about them.

LadyEmmaHamilton · 12/09/2012 20:25

I think she looks great.

I can't remember seeing a thing that she has worn that I wouldn't, even if I don't have her hair and her eyeliner and I will never be that tall or that thin or a princess

Poor girl can't do anything right - too thin, too much eyeliner not pregnant yet

EnjoyGOLDResponsibly · 12/09/2012 20:25

She can become a MNer, can you imagine the POAS thread and live labour thread Grin

She will appreciate our wisdom

Northernlurkerisbackatwork · 12/09/2012 20:28

I think those wedges are super comfortable. I don't mind what she wears as long as she is happy and she always looks happy so all good.

ThisOnce · 12/09/2012 20:38

Knew it reminded me of someone

ThisOnce · 12/09/2012 20:39

Oops try again

MrsCampbellBlack · 12/09/2012 20:39

Oh Northern you're just too nice.

She could be comfortable in nicer shoes that's all I'm saying.

She needed wear the most uncomfortable louboutins in the world for me to like her (like I did for my birthday)

I completely agree Mrs CB - the shoes are awful!

I think it's a really hard dress to accessorise especially for daytime wear. Have been wondering what I would go for - possibly something like this?

PretzelTime · 12/09/2012 21:30

Why do you all care about her shoes
When Mr William next to her looks drab as hell? C'mon give us some sparkle and eyecandy man!

DilysPrice · 12/09/2012 21:41

Agree about MO. Lovely dress, gorgeous woman, but for once, not a good combination. A very rare misjudgement from the fabulous Michelle - normally her choice of colours and shapes is inspired.

shockers · 12/09/2012 21:44

I really don't care about who's wearing what, but I did look at the link and I thought she looked beautiful.

That's all really.

madmomma · 12/09/2012 21:45

What's wrong with her hair? I think it's beautiful. She'd look gorgeous in a binliner anyway. (although I draw the line at that sailor dress!)

suebfg · 12/09/2012 21:46

I think Michelle Obama looks lovely in that dress Blush

MrsCampbellBlack · 12/09/2012 21:48

Both Michelle and Kate are incredibly attractive and photogenic.

I'm just nit-picking about the cork shoes but do please desist Kate.

OP posts:
TheOldestCat · 12/09/2012 21:48

Oh dear, I have cork wedges.

I am obviously channeling Kate!

LonelyLou · 12/09/2012 21:54

I think a pair of crocs would not only be more British but also very comfortable for her AND she could get them to match any colour outfit! SORTED! Grin

MorrisZapp · 12/09/2012 21:54

Kate is young, slim, pretty, and blessed with a gorgeous, genuine smile. Wedges schmedges. Her charisma carries her regardless.

MO, on the other hand is a style icon for the mum set. I usually love her looks but her charm couldn't lift that dress. It was truly oddly shaped.

Both of them are inspiring in their own ways. Especially Mrs O.

hf128219 · 12/09/2012 23:00

Does anyone think she looks different? Pregnant perhaps?
