Good eye cream?

I was told at Bobbi Brown that the one I'm currently using mustn't be moisturising enough because I'm dehydrated there which is why under-eye concealers aren't working for me.
Since I'd already spent a small fortune in there I decided to hold off on buying this and ask for help here do a bit of research first.
Can anyone recommend one? I'm using soap & glory ATM - have jut checked and it says to tighten and brighten so perhaps the woman is right. Annoyingly.
Still, would like to have a few options if anyone has a favourite?

I find Clinique all about eyes is a good one, I use all about eyes rich as I have very dry skin but both versions are good just depends how rich of a formulation you need!

Prevage eye cream is fab, very creamy but sinks in well, results are great, pricey but a pot lasts for months

I don't mind spending a lot because it does tend to last a long time - ill have a look at those 2 thanks ladies

I really rate the Aldi eye cream and it is dirt cheap as well.

Much as I love Bobbi Brown, I have to say that in all the years I've been buying makeup there, I've never been to one of their counters and not been told I'm not using the right eye cream and I should buy this one, yes, THIS ONE, there's no point trying to make concealer work without it, etc, etc

During at least some of that time, I've been using a Bobbi Brown eye cream.

Am using Gatineau Auamemmory roll on eye cream, and it's fab. I used to love Elemis pro intense until I started using this one.

Have got this one aswell, it's the new one in the range, and it's lovely, very hydrating.

Bobbi Brown said the exact same thing to me! And I have to confess I fell for it. Their Extra eye cream is the thickest (and best) one I've used, but I'm not sure I can justify the expense again when it runs out. I also liked Khiel's avocado one.

elemis pro collagen eye cream I have used in the past and really liked
I'm using that elemis one in walnut's link at the moment ( was in a tsv - bargainous) and it's much better than I expected.
deleor excellence cream is also very good

Does one really have to use eye cream? I use fancy moisturisers but have never bothered with an eye cream.

I don't really wear eye makeup though, only ever a bit of shadow (blonde hair but randomly dark eyes so no need for eyeliner/mascara) so I don't scrub at my eyes to remove makeup, so maybe I can survive without it. Have always pondered if I'm missing a trick though.

hoop how old are you - after 40 I really needed an eye cream!

Well Hoop...Bobbi Brown Lady told me that undereye skin can not produce its own moisture so you need to use cream no matter what. I think it's only really a problem if you intend to use make up in that area - eg I can't use any under eye concealer/brightener as it creases immediately. Apparently this is because my eyes are dehydrated

Lol at dehydrated eyes! I'm 32, so maybe this is my future staring dehydratedly at me

I use Nivea thick cream overnight when my skin feels in need of tlc, and that feels lovely around the eyes. I'm sure I read an article once where people had to guess the most expensive eye cream of the ones they were given, and out of them all, including Creme De Mer, Nivea thick cream came top

you can probably get away without using one at 32 but you do need to take care of the skin around your eyes.

I'm 32 too...I've been using an eye cream every day since I was about 20. not that it has helped according to BBLady

Yes, the bogstandard thick Nivea. Lovely stuff. The dogs bollocks. I use fancy shmancy Shu Uemura stuff daily, cleansing oil, hydrating fluid, moisturiser - I use Neal's Yard Rose Facial Oil most nights, all these things keep my skin clear and bright. But for general dryness and unevenness esp around my eyes, nothing beats it good ole Nivea. Especially in the winter. Go on, try it.

Ooh I might just. I have a really scabby dry chin at the moment, think I'll give it a go. Will it help my scabby dry knees too??

You need The Body Shop's soothing aloe cream for your scabby chin it os MUCH better than Liz Earle

I use eucerin eye stuff from boots

is that eucerin stuff nice then ggirl? I've been looking at it. I like the eucerin body cream.

also used this one when I had a terrible allergic eye thingy going on and the skin was like sandpaper ..worked a treat
