I obviously meant the to say the style passport discount code...I was obviously too excited at the thought of 30% off an IRO jacket and am finally sucumbing to the bowie's all thanks to amber and doesmybumlook...

Likeaheadlesschicken · 20/09/2012 22:29

Ooh thanks Issimma...much appreciated!!

shopafrolic · 20/09/2012 22:39

Looks as tho you're sorted chicken - happy shopping!

Likeaheadlesschicken · 20/09/2012 22:47

Yes all done thanks Shop

Hopefully · 21/09/2012 06:42

Have been forced (by a complete lack of clothing) into a new outfit today, and I'm rather pleased with it - khaki pure silk shirt dress (john lewis sale £25!) with chunky hook belt over a long sleeved brown Splendid layering top and Topshop olive coloured jegging/legging things, with suede ankle boots. Relaxed but stylish, I'm hoping, and perfect for checking out a new toddler group later.

Dona I'm halfway through Overdressed. Was worried in the beginning it was going to be a bit mindless (as I am not someone who thinks £5 shoes are a fabulous bargain), but it is making for a really interesting read now we're past the obvious stuff.

Ooh, DS2 up. Later 'gators.

AmberNectarine · 21/09/2012 07:14

Well, with the help of some wise friends I have finally settled on my back to work reward purchase: this amazing skirt. Roll on end of the month...

Glad to have provided some inspo like, is the IRO jacket the black & White Molly? It's on my list...

FritziGreenEyes · 21/09/2012 08:26

amber The McQ skirt will look fabulous on you!

hopefully Great outfit this morning! Have you decided what to get to fill the gaps in your wardrobe?

dona How are you getting on with your capsule wardrobe in Portugal?

I'm currently reading the procrastination book. I have just started reading but at almost every sentence I think "Yes, that's me". Will start doing something productive by decluttering old diaries and letters from the basement that I will never want to read again.

Cold here today. Wearing JBrand floral skinnies, warm socks inside 50/50s and WC grey marl poncho type thing from two years ago.

There is a cute red squirrel outside my kitchen window trying to find a hiding place for a walnut. Love sunny autumn days Smile

MarshaBrady · 21/09/2012 09:50

Likeaheadlesschicken so glad you got a code! I didn't check again last night, pleased Issimma had it.

Amber love the skirt, will look really fabulous on you.

Bonsoir survived the school run in Lanvin wedges, and a supermarket shop. I will buy waterproof boots too for wetter days but they seem really good. It's the thin rubber sole that makes them more wearable. Even more than my APC boots with a block heel. I'd say go for a try on!

Yes love sunny autumn days too Fritzi

Morning coffee now and pondering new coffee machine. Have loads of recommendations on a thread which I will check out.

Great outfits today to Fritzi and Hopefully.

I'm in MiH Paris, stripey Rykiel and new black Lanvin wedges and acne citrus scarf. Good to get injection of new things into older stuff.

Hi all. Dull day here but we have had a new tree delivered for our garden and are now the proud owners of a beautiful crab apple which look great in the spot we reserved for it.
There was a problem with Style Passport last night and I didn't receive an order confirmation so was a little concerned this morning that my order may not have gone through but they have emailed apologies and confirmed receipt so my new boots should be with me early next week!
Today I am wearing:
these jeans but not turned up
pinterest.com/pin/122230577357585609/
A similar colour blue Zara t-shirt over a cream long sleeved thermal t (thermals out already!) and these shoes:

I have a warm red lipstick on to brighten me up a little and am feeling good! I think I'd forgotten what a difference a coloured lip can make after so long not wearing any when DS was little.
Had a horrible time this morning at the eye clinic with DS - instead of getting his eyes checked he basically threw a huge tantrum laying on the floor - we've had to book to go back in 3 months! Embarrassing!
Amber the skirt is beautiful and I love the wedges Marsha
So lovely to be finally wearing my AW purchases - my favourite time of year!

Bonsoir · 21/09/2012 13:15

Marsha - glad your Lanvin wedges are comfortable! I shall seek them out. And I shall check out your coffee machine thread - mine is falling to bits and a real eyesore in my kitchen!

ujjayi - Supermodel Mum did the morning school run in some wine coloured skin-tight leggings and some very high heels. I can confirm her hips are tiny Angry Envy. She certainly doesn't try to go incognito - she had her nanny and chauffeur in tow.

MarshaBrady · 21/09/2012 14:26

Gosh she sounds really incredible looking. I mean I know she would be, as one of my favourites. A friend is at school with Eva H (super). I think Elle M would be quite something too. But yours is the best one imo Grin

Here's the coffee machine thread. I don't mind how much (well not loads) but I really want that fantastic espresso. And yes not an eyesore!

Thanks for the love of the ballet flats. I've had lots of good comments on them today. I definitely get more positive feedback since my shopping trip which is lovely and means it was money well spent.
Pop well done on getting through it! Do you want the job or will you wait and see if they offer and then decide?

DonaAna · 21/09/2012 17:46

Pop fingers crossed!
Hey ladies - what's the verdict on sunglasses? What would you get if you got a pair now?

Exhausted - so much work. Marni coat great. Trip going well.

Great news Pop! Let us know on Monday. It sounds v positive.
Dona I love sunglasses - although I wear them less at the moment as I never have time to put my contact lenses in! My latest pair are the gold rimmed RayBans on my SS Pin board. I have vintage Dior sunnies that I picked up in Milan. Lots of airport purchases. I sold a pair of tortoiseshell oversized Versace glasses which I now wish I'd kept. I could go on......
Celtic sheepskin order is all going back. It made me feel 20 years older.

shopafrolic · 21/09/2012 18:08

Must add that I don't like wearing sunglasses when it's not sunny! I only use them for the job they were intended, not to pose in!
