Big calf no good for me so will try them I think they look ok though.Fingers crossed.

cybbo · 28/08/2012 09:54

Sassy I saw those clarks ones but I recall they were slightly fussier than I wanted....but 89.99

Think I would still rather spend twice that to get my perfect pair

Yes nodders, God Speed.

Yes it is very serious this winter boots thing. I really want black so will be ebay or £££££££££££££ which will cause massive argument in house atm Grin

cornycrocskin · 28/08/2012 09:57

someone linked to a nice grey pair of clarks boots on the MN vogue thread last week (I'm a shameless lurker on many s&b threads for the links).
I was quite tempted to investigate even though I felt like sassy about forking out £££ for them. Think they were these

cornycrocskin · 28/08/2012 09:59

Laurie those are absolutely gorgeous - I would love them. Did you have a code?

those dm's are lovely

cybbo · 28/08/2012 10:04

I buy out of my money and claim I've had them for yonks

No code's I've ever seen for Celtic Sheepskin but I'm pretty sure they will last and last - I've got their Shortie Boots (machine washable) on their 4th year and they look like new and their Aqualamb boots too.

cocolepew · 28/08/2012 10:07

now I've decided I need the DM Felice boots for work.
It's all your fault Cyb.

noddyholder · 28/08/2012 10:10

I also buy myself am joking! Although I harped on about the ash ones and they were ££££££££ and have only really worn a handful of times!

noddyholder · 28/08/2012 10:15

bargain

cornycrocskin · 28/08/2012 10:21

noddy those are amazing - are they a branded make?

noddyholder · 28/08/2012 10:28

Not sure. Am going to get instead of ebay ones as I think they will be useful with my clothes. Will order both and send one back. My friend had a laredoute pair last winter and were lovely really top quality

florenceuk · 28/08/2012 10:29

I linked these before, h by hudson - think more wearable than calf length. I have calf length grey suede biker boots, still unworn - maybe because I am too short they are an uncomfortable length, bunch up with skinnies and look too casual for work, only really wearable with tunic/leggings combo.

cybbo · 28/08/2012 11:18

Yes Flo I do like that length of boot...but still think i need a longer one (as well)

cybbo · 28/08/2012 11:19

Of course I'll be digging out my bargainous Kurt Geiger leather ankle toppers as well. Lived in those before the summer

OP posts:
Caerlaverock · 28/08/2012 11:28

I have just ordered these little bargains

cornycrocskin · 28/08/2012 11:29

wow brilliant find! they don't have them in a 6 though...wonder if a 7 would be too big?

cybbo · 28/08/2012 11:31

Good price it they look HUGe around the ankle. It's a problem I have with nearly every thing I try on

OP posts:
Caerlaverock · 28/08/2012 11:36

I deliberated for ages and then the 6 had gone, I am thinking big socks. Bless you cybbo with your wee Victorian ankles

Peggotty · 28/08/2012 13:03

Baaaa! I've just ordered 2 pairs of boots thanks to this thread - Angry and yet Grin at same time.

Caerlaverock · 28/08/2012 13:18

Peggotty · 28/08/2012 13:36
