Please help - Looking for some inspiration about what I can wear.

Will still be feeding DS so a dress suitable to BF would be ideal. TIA

This is more 40's than 50's but certainly passable and great for BF.

A pill box hat:
this with deep green bag
this and this would be phenomenal.
As would this, red shoes and a black clutch.

black sandals along the lines of these, or mary janes (am assuming you need a stable mid-heel shoe with teh baby) would make it solidly early 50's, IMHO.

MrsLettuce · 21/08/2012 08:59

don't know if the button front here is faux, same here.

Hat is a must, whatever dress you choose!

this (needs a petticoat under it) with this (either as shown or in white) and this or this

How about this one?

MrsLettuce can you please be my personal shopper? ThanksGrin

MrsLettuce · 23/08/2012 19:19

Grin with pleasure, anything to avoid the housework...

BlueSuedeStiletto · 23/08/2012 20:57

Marvelous. In that case, I'd like some sexy but smart work clothes please Grin

MrsLettuce · 23/08/2012 21:00

grand Wink

Best start a thread then!

BlueSuedeStiletto · 23/08/2012 21:38

Done... :-)

Is it a formal wedding OP? I'd go for a full on prom dress. A halterneck with tied straps could work for BFing as long as you've got a wrap to cover up?

MrsJK · 26/08/2012 09:48

Wow - what fabulous suggestions! Apologises taken me so long to come back to this.

MrsLettuce I think you have a missed calling ;)

I love the idea of a full skirt / prom style dress - esp. the spotty one linked above! I'm off to have a scour of the sites suggested!

THat's very sweet, but how does this grab you?

MrsLettuce · 26/08/2012 12:34

Oh, and you don't hace to go to a 50s wedding to wear a fab 50s dress, things along the lines of this or this, worn without a petticoat, make a lovely, flattering summer dresses.

AKissIsNotAContract · 26/08/2012 12:41

this is lovely.

MrsJK · 26/08/2012 13:15

I agree - these are all lovely!

It's going to be very hard to narrow it down.
