Both rhe tk maxx in leeds are good, the city centre one is the better of the two. Harrogate can be good, york is crap.

Charliefox · 12/08/2012 09:42

Wigan, Warrington and the Trafford one are all pretty good.

daisie4 · 12/08/2012 14:17

Can I ask hy some are better than others? Is it the stock or the layout?

Southampton rubbish, Fareham used to be good but haven't been for ages.

ChuffMuffin · 12/08/2012 15:02

Manchester City Centre one is great, and it's mahoosive, perfect for bargain hunting.

tutu100 · 12/08/2012 15:04

Southampton centre branch is crap, I hate the fact it's laid out over 2 floors and also I know you have to hunt for things in TK Maxx, but in that store it seems even harder than others. I like the Eastleigh branch, all on one floor, seems much easier to hunt round, and I'm sure they get there prices wrong sometimes. I once bought a birth to potty pack of totsbots nappies for £25 in there. Went to the Southampton branch to see if they had another pack and it was £105 in there!

ChaosTrulyReigns · 12/08/2012 15:04

There's an online TKMaxx?

SIOB.

happybubblebrain · 12/08/2012 15:16

Nottingham - fairly small, but I've found some great stuff in there.
Birmingham - huge and you need half day to look round. It has lots more designer stuff than your average TKMaxx.
Leicester - big and not as good as it used to be.
Loughborough - pretty similar to Leicester but a bit smaller.
Luton - the worst one I've been to.
Burton-on-Trent - last time I went (4 years ago) it was good, I have no idea now.

As you can see I like TKMaxx.

archaeoptyrx · 12/08/2012 15:40

Grimsby - surprisingly good especially in the clearance sections and not too chaotic.

Lincoln - fine with the occasional gem and free parking outside.

Scunthorpe - good for children's coats - I can always find one.

Scarborough - good children's stuff and fancy dress.

I like TKMaxx too!

where is tkmaxx is wigan?

archaeoptyrx · 12/08/2012 15:44

Apologies for multiple posts, am on phone!

ujjayi · 12/08/2012 15:45

Milton Keynes city centre - shocking
Bletchley - good but you need to be prepared to rummage through some polyester horrors before finding the good stuff. Especially good for knitwear (John Smedley, James Lakeland, Antoni & Alison plus a heap of merino & cashmere brands I have never heard of eg Deane & White)

WendevilleAndManlock · 12/08/2012 16:35

Just had a good session in Staines.
Gorgeous tailored Hilfiger shorts - £19 from £70
Great Plains vest top - £2
and
Kenzo espadrilles for DD - £3 - RRP £85 Shock

Charliefox · 12/08/2012 16:47

The one in Wigan is upstairs in the new ish mall.

PissyDust · 12/08/2012 20:38

Chelmsford Essex is rubbish

KenDoddsDadsDog · 12/08/2012 21:02

Sunderland have lots of Fekkai shampoo and conditioner. £33 reduced to £9. In your face Space NK!
Also loads of men's Ralph Lauren shirts.

CointreauVersial · 12/08/2012 23:12

The Kingston one is massive, but a really confusing layout, so you spend half your time trying to find your way out.

Crawley is good too. And Sutton.

I heart TKMaxx, a bit like a jumble sale; you never know what you'll find. I particularly like the accessories.

CousinBotony · 13/08/2012 09:07

Hammersmith is good too, great for underwear and kids clothes.

RaisingMrC · 13/08/2012 13:14

Kensington High street! Like the shoe section, have seen chie mihara, f-troupe and kat maconie in there.

PTA · 13/08/2012 13:20

I like the Sauchihall St one but am not impressed with Argyle Street.

Both Clydebank and Linwood are good, probably rate Clydebank a bit better and it's next to a Next Discount place as well.

I don't get to the Fort as often as I used to with the new M74 extension but it used to be quite good too.

OneOfMyTurnsComingOn · 13/08/2012 13:23

That's useful, Happybubble. Thanks Smile

kiwidreamer · 13/08/2012 14:50

Has anyone had great finds in the Reading branch (broad st mall)??
