FritziGreenEyes · 16/08/2012 22:13

AmberNectarine · 16/08/2012 22:14

Thanks trixy, I am now officially the thread's Ann Widdecombe.

MangawhaiHeads · 16/08/2012 22:16

I definitely follow a few of you on Pinterest and some of you follow me back ) Too paranoid to divulge my initials as it is under my real name.
Particularly stylish here in pyjamas as an en route to bed but do love the wise and avid counsel.
Few purchases this week - Topshop Baxters, old reliables, divine scarf from Primark which am normally allergic to but could not resist, and some courts from LKB for work. Nothing too thrilling at all.

OllieinOrange · 16/08/2012 22:17

Oh my eyes Fritzi

pickledsiblings · 16/08/2012 22:18

always, I will attempt to fill you in:

A number of people on the thread have been 'discovered' in RL and as a consequence are feeling inhibited/unable to post meaningfully. We are currently considering all suggestions of a work around seriously. Suggestions include -

  1. setting up a blog similar to the Worn Out one
  2. going underground
  3. having a huge namechange fest

any ideas greatly received

OllieinOrange · 16/08/2012 22:19

Oh Manga Was wondering about a trek to Primark next week. Whats your scarf like??? Love a scarf me.

lurkingaround · 16/08/2012 22:19

That's a beautiful look Marsha.

trixymalixy · 16/08/2012 22:21

I always seem to miss the nice scarfs in Primark, a girl at work always wears lovely scarfs al from Primark, but I never see any I like.

MangawhaiHeads · 16/08/2012 22:21

Ollie, it is vaguely leopard print with pink and green through it. Sounds hideous probably but I love it!

Rufus and Portia, I really did not need to know that! The GP didn't give me any other options really and refused to write me a prescription for the pill as my father had pulmonary embolism and now has leukemia (though it has not progressed) and mum dying fairly young. Luckily dh is mostly at work!

Portia, you are a brave woman.

Hells featured a DvF scarf recently which she copied me in buying. Just thought I'd mention it! ;)

Fritzi, we had a little argument in the shop as she wanted the red shoes. I agreed much nicer but her shoes have to be black.

Doghouse, I was wondering who you were. I like your pins.

I had birkenstocks, the madrid ones but found them very uncomfortable. Havaianas all the way.

Cool, thanks Red, will check it out tomorrow.

MarshaBrady · 16/08/2012 22:24

Thanks Lurking are you on pin?

Feel free to join and follow it's the lovely visual narrative (additional) to this thread.

Always there's talk of an FB group for more privacy.

CHOOGIRL · 16/08/2012 22:24

Fritz They are not really to my taste but am sure there is a market for them.Grin

FritziGreenEyes · 16/08/2012 22:25

Yes, Eurotrash tourists maybe Grin

OllieinOrange · 16/08/2012 22:25

pickled your words of wisdom more than make up for any lack of links. Smile

NotSoGrumpy · 16/08/2012 22:30

Yay! Thanks choo look forward to seeing the results of your splurge. I name changed a while ago but I've been on and off the thread over the last 2 1/2 years.

Oh and another link, these are my new work shoes. They look better on than on the website, I can't walk in v high heels (dodgy knee) and I like red shoes.

decam those are the shoes my DD wants, it's the changeable straps she's after.

lovely scarves for Ollie

mintgreentiger · 16/08/2012 22:37

I love those shoes notsogrumpy! I too am rubbish with heels unless drunk , they look like a great work height.

lurkingaround · 16/08/2012 22:41

Thanks Marsha, am not on pinterest.

How do you do it? Just sign up and off you go?

Nervously, I share this, my latest purchase. Surprisingly flattering top, awful website.

AmberNectarine · 16/08/2012 22:43

love this

AmberNectarine · 16/08/2012 22:45

I like that top lurking, most of my basic tops are from Cos. I do like a slouchy fit to hide my bezza, as red might say

AmberNectarine · 16/08/2012 22:49

Right enough verbal diarrhoea from me, signing off to work my gold-digging magic on DH

Over and out.

P.s. Please don't all sneak off overnight without me.

nelsonscolumn · 16/08/2012 22:49

Another delurker crawling out of the woodwork here. Just wanted to say whatever you ladies decide thank you for the inspiration you have provided. I haven't posted as I am a littler older and much larger than you all but it has been marvelous to vicariously enjoy your love of fashion. I am equally obsessed but do not have any friends in RL who are similar apart from my 19 year old DD and she is about to go to uni (sob!).

lurkingaround · 16/08/2012 22:56

Thanks Amber, yes indeed, ver handy for hiding the ole bezza!

MarshaBrady · 16/08/2012 23:02

Hi Lurking you can set one up in your Mn name, I think you can request an invitation from pinterest or I can send one to you but has to be by email (by pm, good if you have a generic yahoo etc one).

Good Cos buy.
