Thinking of your friend gw.
Happy for your happy news ollie! Even though we can't know what it is... Your very thoughtful, lovely post has made me think again. I think you're right about the thread mattering, not MN. I would be very happy indeed if there could be closed threads / groups on MN. It's easier for me atm as I don't work and my DC haven't yet started school, so my world is rather small and very few could recognise me and it be a problem. But actually I would hate school mums who I don't really know / colleagues / pupils' mums... etc to recognise me on here in the future, even if they were likeminded! Will follow the majority re a new closed group but think I would struggle to post on two I'm afraid.
I am grimacing at the talk of sambucca an tequila is worst of all! Never never. Good old DH has downed mine for me on necessary occasions...
Lovely knitwear decam. And those leopards! Almost wish DD was older so that she could wear them but she's only 6m and think DH might do this
.
rufus I'm the same with boots! It's absurd. I now have aggies in tan and grey, the TS ambush in black, the NL ones on their way, the pink Zara ones... Plus a couple of pairs of perfectly wearable ankle boots from the last few years... Still, at least they're not fit flops hey amber?
. My DH is pleasingly swarthy btw and I was most pleased that he would counteract my freckly blue-ish skin, but no both DS and DD are as pale as pale, sigh.
Survived shoe shopping just about. He was a demon during the shoes and clothes bit and an angel in the cafe. Just like his father. No treat for me but my mum has whisked him off now to stay overnight which is just as good! Meal out tonight with the girls, not sure what wearing yet.
