What colour Converse have you all got?

I want to get a pair of Converse but don't know what colour. Years ago I had a red colour which I wore to death, I don't know if I should get another red pair or a different colour. I'm quite boring classical colours wise and was thinking of black or navy.

What colour have you got? What do you wear them with?

I have cream coloured ones though they are more mud coloured now. They were pretty when they were new 10 years ago!

I've got a navy blue pair. I'm so heavy on my feet tho they wore out after about 4 months

I had every colour going.

I remember a few years ago people would laugh at me for wearing vans and converse, call me a 'mosher' or 'skater'
Now everyone's bloody wearing them. Banging on about them like they invented them or something.

I've got my all-purpose pair of black low-tops, and a navy/pale blue double tongued pair of low-tops that are my slightly nicer pair.

Silver sequins.

Silver goes with everything.

I've got red (my favourite), bright green (also worn a lot), white and baby blue. The last two are the summer version which I wear with no socks.

I get loads of wear out of all of them, and don't bother matching them with outfits. Except the white ones, which I wore with my wedding dress :)

I've got a lovely warm pair of black suede hi-tops and a brick red pair of slim low-tops. I would really like a green pair too.

I had a gold pair back in the 80s that I really loved. I see lots of you have silver now. Do you think gold or silver would look stupid on a 43 year old?

Navy and grey plus a brown suede pair in a slightly different style.

Oh, and I've also got a 'vintage' pair of black hi-tops that are about 20 years old that get used when I'm decorating.

How do you go about washing your converse? I haven't got any sort of sports wash on my washing machine and don't want to break it again

Where is the best place to get converse, eg selection/ value. Just curious.
Birthday coming up and need some comfy shoes. I never have nice shoes

Black sequin and pink and grey leopard print. These have mainly been abandoned in favour of my Superga collection, which I much prefer. I have grey, navy, yellow and purple - navy and grey definitely worn most.

I had a lovely pair of grey-blue suede ones. They were my favourite thing. I wore them through to the ground, and by then converse didn't make that model anymore. I've been trying to find an equivalent for several years and just can't...

KKNH - i just throw mine into the washing machine on a fast wash (I don't have a sports wash on mine either) and they come out fine.

I have: Grey Hi-Tops/Red Hi-Tops/White Hi-Tops/ Cream Low tops and a pair of Slim Black Leather low tops that my lovely friend brought back from Canada for me :)

I wear them pretty much all of the time :)

Navy, goes with everything though I am currently watching a silver sequinned pair in a local sports shop. Love and live in Converse. New pair each year.
