AntPants1 · 29/07/2012 20:51

These are the Boden trousers.... Am wondering whether to get them in "flame" or the dark blue..www.boden.co.uk/en-GB/Womens-Trousers-Jeans/Trousers/WM332/Womens-Zip-Ankle-Skimmer.html

I've ordered the seam detail trousers ants. They look fab in the catalogue but more than rubbish online. I am not going to sully my lovely boards with a pin! I've bought them in navy blue, hoping they'll toughen up my jaeger red and white breton which is so classic, it verges on frumpy when worn with denim.
I'd like some navy satin feel houlihans if I was going to be fussy!

blossoming · 29/07/2012 22:01

On the subject of Farhi seventh, I tried on this top the other day. Miracle top gave me a gorgeous hourglass shape, made my waist look tiny (no mean feat). I didn't get it, maybe too classic for me.

AmberNectarine · 29/07/2012 22:12

Got Navy satin feel Agnes I'm trying to get rid of bloss, brass hardware though...

Reminds me, SE, so sorry I haven't made it to PO yet, have been out and about far too much this week, will def go tomorrow!

Hopefully · 29/07/2012 22:13

Thanks SE! Am do excited, just finishing painting my nails (am being organised and not doing them while sitting in traffic tomorrow).

DS1 is a huge fan of uber dark choc, and also loves the raw cocoa nibs we get to put in flapjacks. Kids are weird.

Too nervous/excited about tomorrow to concentrate, despite reading back, so hugs to all and I'll attempt to participate more fully when brain is functioning Smile.

blossoming · 29/07/2012 22:13

AmberNectarine · 30/07/2012 07:58

28, bloss

Have got post holiday blues, DH back to work today. Still, off to Majorca in 5 weeks, meaning I really need to stop shovelling crap into my mouth and do some exercise! Don't want to go back to work looking anything less than tanned and toned!

Have filled a basket at Boden. Will probably order and then send it all back

OllieinOrange · 30/07/2012 08:01

Yes, lots of luck this week Hopefully.

The Boden trousers seem to be selling fast - low stocks in a lot of sizes already. May order both in grey in attempt to move away from wearing jeans this A/W.

Bloss and Everything - thats funny, I was looking at the Farhi top and coat earlier and almost linked them for Decameron who has the top in navy (?) and I thought would like the coat. I tried the top on earlier in the year in white - v flattering. I love the style of the coat but may be too shapeless for me esp as the sleeves are so wide. Will go and look at my HoC notes again.

MidnightinMoscow · 30/07/2012 08:07

Good luck hopefully for this week. When are you training SE, love Montezuma btw.

Love those two coats that SE has linked to for Ollie. I am really starting to understand the HoC style day stuff - both those coats are so right for Ollie. Very clever stuff. I'd really love to do both days.

Well done Reine, hope the head is not too sore this am.

Nice trousers Ants - I really like the blue GAP ones you have pinned too.

I have signed up to twitter, so waiting for my tweet to appear on Matches feed. Honestly, I am so shocked at their CS. Also had to take a dress back to Whistles yesterday, holes appeared in it after one wash. Was sort of relieved - I wore it for the first time last week, and I couldn't get it to sit right at all. So, at least I have a lovely credit voucher to play with.

AmberNectarine · 30/07/2012 08:14

That had happened with me twice in Whistles lately, MiM. They sorted it without question on both occasions. Showing Matches how it is done!

Good luck Hopefully, hope it goes well and is really enjoyable!

MidnightinMoscow · 30/07/2012 08:17

This is the thing, I didn't have a receipt but she just asked me when and where I bought it, had a look on their system and then issued the gift receipt, as that is how I paid.

Yet I cannot even get a reply from Matches.

Morning all. Back after a busy weekend which was lots of fun. DD LOVED the Opening Ceremony (as did we - apart from Paul Mc and the athletes parade- which didn't half go on a bit. I turned it off for an hour and read my book and then turned it back on again and they were still only at 'R'...) Have been glued to various sports. Gymnastics is absolutely gob smacking, and right up there with the swimming as an excuse to letch at incredibly chiselled young men. DH has an equation which he says allows you to work out whether the person you are ogling is inappropriately young or not - half of your age plus 7 apparently. Which I fear rules out for me a lot of the swimmers etc, so have decided to ignore DHs rule....

Good luck for today Hopefully!

Amber - am sure you will look amazing in a bikini. Few shreds will make you feel even more confident.

Weather nice here so wearing fitted patterned maxi with short blazer and H and M flat sandals. In office, but no meetings that necessitate dressing up for today.

Got a tip for anyone who fancies a cheap family break away. We stayed in this chain this weekend and if you not wanting to spend a fortune they are a really good option. £170 for two nights for the three of us inc dinner for DH and I on the first night. Two kids stay free in a family room, although you pay for their dinners (breakfast inc.) The leisure facilities are fab. Great pool/sauna/steam room etc. The best gym of any hotel I have ever stayed in (and I am inc Four Seasons etc calibre in that) and all the classes are free to hotel guests. They have stuff for kids too, all included. So DH and I went to a class on both Saturday and Sunday morning and DD went to a kids 'fun and games' and 'Kids Cardio' session for an hour - both of which she loved. Free wi fi. I am a bit of a posh hotel snob whenever I get the chance, but frankly a lot of the design/ambiance/trendy food of a boutique hotel is lost on children which is why we thought we would try this place on a whim. It's not Babington House tbh, but it is good value for money. Kind of half a star down from your average Hilton, but with much better leisure facilities. They have good beauty stuff on site too for massages etc - sadly this was all booked up when I tried to get a slot a couple of weeks ago.

Hopefully · 30/07/2012 08:43

Thank you all! I am sitting outside (where I have been for 40 mins. Paranoia of being late, much?) so as not to rock up indecently early. Am flapping that wardrobe is woeful, I will be sent home for being unstylish/not clever enough/nasty to clients and will generally be a disaster. But underneath all of that I am so excited and looking forward to it! Grin

MarshaBrady · 30/07/2012 08:44

Excellent Hopefully! Have a great time.

rufus101 · 30/07/2012 09:01
