So, I am reluctantly using Liz Earle again <sigh>...

I have tried everything including the OCM, which worked fantastically for about 3 months and then my skin went to pot.

I tried everything known to man and now am back to good old Liz and my skin feels instantly better and calmer.

I used to use her products but found them a tad on the expensive side for what they are and got pissed off she sold out to Avon BUT tbh I have spent so much on other lotions and potions I probably save just sticking with Liz Hmm

So in my box of tricks which arrived today was free shampoo, conditioner and 3 muslin cloths AND a mini cleanse and polish - hooray! Grin

Anyone tried the new make up yet? And what about the exfoliater, is that nice ( preparing my next order Wink)

Oh I love Liz it's the only thing that works on my skin too. I'm spot prone.

I heard the avon thing, does that mean she may make products for them?

Eggrules · 09/07/2012 10:25

I am using hot cloth and polish and my skin is awful. Is it worth sticking with it?

valiumredhead · 09/07/2012 10:26

I doubt it curious I think they just ultimately 'own' her.

egg I don't know, how long have you been using it. It instantly feels good on my cracked, dry old skin Wink

Have you tried Mama Mio's skincare range? It is all natural and each product comes with some fab facial exercises. It is the only thing that works on my skin and I found it far superior to Liz Earle.

Bloody hell, it ought to be superior at those prices! Grin

why not try contacting them and asking them for samples? They are a really lovely company to do business with. Very down to earth.

I am such a huge fan as I took part in their skincare trials and have continued to buy it ever since.

fedupofnamechanging · 09/07/2012 11:41

I have heard that they bought her brand, but she won't be doing a 'Liz Earle for Avon', type thing. The two brands remain separate.

ggirl · 09/07/2012 11:47

no7 one just as good for me

valiumredhead · 09/07/2012 11:57

Bit wary of No 7 as I just bought the Beautiful Skin range which is meant to be for sensitive skin and honestly it felt like someone was pouring acid on my skin!

I bought 2 bottles of C and P wheb they were selling it for less than ten pounds each and got a mini C and P and cloth free.

ujjayi · 09/07/2012 13:00

valiumredhead how about this range?

There is a freebie in August's Glamour magazine which I have just tried for your sake Wink. First thoughts are it feels really nice, smells wonderful and hasn't left my skin drier than a shedding snakeskin.

valiumredhead · 09/07/2012 13:31

Will pop off to Tescos for freebies and report back!

Will probably leave it for a while before using it though as my skin is so hurry atm, I need to get it under control before doing a comparison.

Has anyone tried this one? Says you can use a muslin cloth with it too?

valiumredhead · 09/07/2012 15:16

That looks nice curious

OP posts:
CuriousMama · 09/07/2012 15:17

Oooo they do a sample cream.

valiumredhead · 09/07/2012 17:15

Have to say my skin feels amazing and usually am starting to get a bit flaky around the nose area attractive by this time of day.

Really Liz isn't that expensive when you look at it ml wise. And you need such a small amount.

valiumredhead · 09/07/2012 17:21

I liked the fact it was free p and p with the special offer.

CuriousMama · 09/07/2012 17:49

That's good then. I love the little surprises too Smile

Housewifefromheaven · 09/07/2012 17:56

I am waiting for Emma hardie cleansing balm to arrive. Use liz Earle too but fancy a change :o. Does anyone else use it?

CuriousMama · 09/07/2012 18:13

Never heard of it? Sounds nice though.

valiumredhead · 09/07/2012 18:26

Oh the Emma Hardie stuff looks good but I have an inbuilt dislike of QVC so that puts me off! Can you update and let me know what it's like?

OP posts:
Housewifefromheaven · 09/07/2012 18:30

It's from qvc. I am a qvc sad addict :o

valiumredhead · 09/07/2012 18:32

I am too but I only watch it to have a giggle I've bought twice from them and was disappointed twice so never again unless it's a brand I know.
