The fake tan is on (with requisite orange patches, naturally) and hair is done. I'm on countdown to Big Night Out, aware that will have to get ready whilst putting 2 DC to bed.

40bum lady is wearing my black suede Zara sandals today. I heartily recommend. She goes out a lot, doesn't she?! . I have a wardrobe full of going out clothes but not enough occasions to wear them all!

bloss is right: coats and warm jackets are the way forward. I am stupid; I have 20 odd blazers and lightweight jackets perfect for May to September but only 1 jacket and 2 coats I like for September to April. Must rectify.

Total. Rock. n. roll.

Evening all. I haven't had as much chance to post as I thought - got a little distracted with Pinterest earlier in the week, and have spent the last two days getting deeper and deeper into stressville - nanny situation is as yet unresolved. And I start my new job on Tuesday. And no childcare as of the end of next week. . But on the plus side, I'm hopefully interviewing two possibles on Monday, after resorting to the hideously expensive agency . Cheers MiM! In two weeks I will look back on all this and laugh!

I'm thinking of cutting carbs two days a week, just read this (old news so you probably all know about it).

I took my two to a barbeque at DD1's school, it was a bit stressful going without DH (guess where he is?) as DD1 kept running off and it was so crowded. I did have a glass of wine though and got to wear my J Brand leggings and new shoes.
