The fake tan is on (with requisite orange patches, naturally) and hair is done. I'm on countdown to Big Night Out, aware that will have to get ready whilst putting 2 DC to bed.

40bum lady is wearing my black suede Zara sandals today. I heartily recommend. She goes out a lot, doesn't she?! . I have a wardrobe full of going out clothes but not enough occasions to wear them all!

bloss is right: coats and warm jackets are the way forward. I am stupid; I have 20 odd blazers and lightweight jackets perfect for May to September but only 1 jacket and 2 coats I like for September to April. Must rectify.

My DD does that too, except in this house it's Vogue or Elle. Or my bank statement which isn't always a bad thing

Decameron - I completely missed the deadline for code the Boden Preview stuff. So annoying. Didnt want a lot but wanted to try the navy printed blouse - and possibly the cord skirt you pinned. Did you order anything?

Off out for the day with my parents. Did a BBQ for them last night. Was quite shocked at how much weight my DM has put on (and she was already v overweight). She has high blood pressure and thyroid problems but just doesnt accept a heathly diet could help. Apart from that, visit ok so far. Good.

Went out with dh for the first time since having ds last night. We were gone for all of 2 hours . Not even enough time for ds to have the bottle I lovingly expressed for him. It was good to get out though- had delicious steak. Wore skinnies and goldfish top with wedge sandals.
