Neutral blazer wardrobe gap needs filling

I am looking for a jacket to wear with a number of smart work dresses.
Doesnt need to be too formal but definitely smart as would be for meetings.

Hardest part is probably shape - I am a classic pear 10/12 top and big 14 bottom. This means it needs to not be boyfriend/ long line. And not too cropped either ( fussy ) as this exaggerates bum.

Needs to be more stone then cream.

I don't get on well with Zara but that's probably the right sort of price range - £60-£100 ideally.

I can get to a store that has Hobbs / coast / phase eight / whistles / top shop / oasis etc..

Anyone seen / got anything suitable ?
Thanks

Ah, was going to suggest the cotton blazers in Zara...!

Thanks shandy I knew someone would suggest Zara you see. Just don't get on with their clothes really. I have one jacket from there but not sure I love it enough to go there this time.

Massimo Dutti?

That's lovely but I find their sizing a bit mean
maybe I need to qualify - my dresses are fenn wright Manson and LK Bennett types - nothing young and funky in my wardrobe :(

Have you tried mango? They sometimes have stuff like that.

Is thishttp://www.oasis-stores.com/Soft-Drape-Jacket/Jackets-&-Coats/oasis/fcp-product/3430060306 too long?

Is it to wear with dresses or trousers?

PlumSykes · 23/06/2012 22:37

Sorry, here
