Oh dear, I accidentally bought a tan Lucia with the 15% off code! It's on until 30th of June. The code is "fashion".

Thought I'd share the news!

I bought the Carolina a couple of months ago and have pretty much worn it every day. It's a slightly pinky nude and goes with EVERYTHING. I bought it just to wear when I go away for weekends or to London for work as I thought it would be too small for day to day but it's actually been fantastic training. The bigger the bag, the bigger the amount of rubbish I carry around.

Saying that, I always want a bigger bag in the winter (aagh can't believe I'm planning my winter wardrobe. I want my summer first!). I really want the Olivia - particularly after reading the earlier messages.

Have set up my ebay watch list.....Peony and Moore grey Lucia...........Grin

bunionscomingsoon · 29/06/2012 12:25

Errrrm - - well I could sell it I suppose --cardoon I do have a black one as well and then I could maybe buy the Celia in the new colour ......Hmm

madammecholet · 29/06/2012 14:55

sell bunions sell!! I have sold a few bags recently on ebay and made a lovely stash for more purchases! Ebay sometimes have 'No Fees' weekends too, keep an eye out ;)

polyhymnia · 29/06/2012 19:05

kagriff can I ask please on the Carolina whether the nude is at all orange-y? It looks a bit that way on the site.

I like my nudes beige or even a bit taupe-y. A nude with a faint subtle blush of pink could be OK tho in general I'm a pink hater, but orange of any sort is a personal no-go!
TIA

Kagriff · 29/06/2012 19:36

In no way orangy-y at all. In fact, even saying it's slightly pinky nude is probably wrong. It's a true nude and probably only seems slightly pinky-warm when it's worn with certain outfits/colours.

I can't recommend it enough - the price is great and the size is really good as well. I had a radley tan across body but found it really fiddly as you can't get to stuff at bottom of the bag. This, you flip open and it's all there.

I've been known to change my bag everyday depending on what I'm wearing so the fact that I've worn the Carolina pretty much everyday for the last few weeks is a testament to the fact that it goes with everything.

polyhymnia · 29/06/2012 20:41

Thanks. That does sound excellent. The orangy look on my screen must be deseptive.

I don't usually do small bags but, when I do, agree that it's so much better if you can see and get to things at once. Dug an old taupey Autograph cross-body one out yesterday to go out and, though it went well with my outfit, it drove me mad groping about in the bottom of it!

And the pricce is good!

polyhymnia · 29/06/2012 20:41

Or the price even!

polyhymnia · 29/06/2012 20:52

Mind you, if I was going for a small bag while this reduction's on and while awaiting the tan Mariella's arrival I realy like the Gina too.

Does anyone have one and could say whether it's more silver or gold-looking?

polyhymnia · 30/06/2012 10:26

Bump - final call before promotion runs out - has noone tried the P and M Gina yet?

If so, feedback, specially on colour much appreciated!

madammecholet · 30/06/2012 13:19

Nope sorry.. looks gorgeous though, looks almost pewter, inbetween the gold/silver...i've been considering it for hols as it would look gorgeous with white jeans.. The carolina looks more useful for the day, the Gina is more glam tho... Grin

sorry, not that helpful!

polyhymnia · 30/06/2012 15:08

No but very well summed up !!

bunionscomingsoon · 30/06/2012 17:18

My friend bought the Gina it's just shimmery - - not gold or silver or well - maybe just a tad more gold than silver -- - - and I can borrow it!!!! whoooo hoo! Grin

polyhymnia · 30/06/2012 17:26

Lucky you!

So is the colour neutral/subtle and goes with everything?

How sparkly is it? Would you use in daytime for non-formal occasions (personally I'd do that with a matt pewter-y bag but not with a bling gold one)?

bunionscomingsoon · 30/06/2012 17:35

It is sparkly but not in a gold blingy way more a shimmery way I would wear it with jeans and jacket down the pub OR dressed to the nines in my LBD - - my friend wears it casually with jeans when she is eating out - and has worn it already with a summer maxi dress ( i know -- when did she find summer??) - she says it goes with lots of stuff and loves it -

polyhymnia · 30/06/2012 22:38

Thanks! Still an hour or do to decide!
