They got delivered to work and I have put them on and they are just dreamy - no breaking them in, no stretching, nothing. Just happiness....

In my defence, I have a bad back and I don't drive so do loads of walking. I know Clarks get loads of stick especially on here but you can't beat them for comfort. Oh actually I don't care - do your worst! Smile

Oh dear, I rather like them. Especially in the cherry patent.
I must be getting old.

2madboys · 19/06/2012 16:44

I am wearing these right now! I got those and the bright pink ones last year. Not
The most elegant, but I love them Grin

AnnaMosity · 19/06/2012 16:45

They are vile

ebbandflow · 19/06/2012 16:48

I knew it-they are from the unstructured range. I wear other designs from that range, they are brilliant, the heel height is just right and so comfy. Have completely got rid of foot pain (plantar wotsitcalled)

Lottapianos · 19/06/2012 16:55

Yay for Clarks fans! I've got my eye on the red pair too.

I bought a pair of unstructured Clarks boots 3 years ago and have probably worn them about 200 times - they are still going strong and are the most comfy footwear known to humanity (I think so anyway)

AnnaMosity, you're living up to your name Wink

Hideous, but glad they're comfy

LittlePandaBear · 19/06/2012 18:21

I love the fact that they are called Un Swish! Grin

WhereMyMilk · 19/06/2012 18:44

YY little panda, as they most definitely are! Fucking ugly!

Lottapianos · 19/06/2012 20:11

Un Swish - love it! Grin

Oh lovely. I wanted those but my feet are too chubby broad.

I have a pair of shoes from that range - been wearing them for a good couple of years now - soooo comfy and they still look brand new!

bigTillyMint · 19/06/2012 20:19

I am quite liking the red part of the Cherry Red ones, but I'm not sure about the solesConfused

Lottapianos · 19/06/2012 20:19

Do they do a wider size shrimponastick? They really are magical - sooooo comfy. All unstructured Clarks shoes are the same - like walking on air Smile

shrimponastick · 19/06/2012 20:25

No - just the D fit. I have tried them on to see if they would 'give' but I think they would be too tight.

This summer and last I bought wide fitting sandals from BHS. Not overly stylish, but not too bad - and half the price of the clarks. V comfy too.

I do like clarks though :)

KristinaM · 19/06/2012 20:50

Yy the red patent is very jolly

Ignore the grumpy people, they are like that because their feet hurt in their high heels

CatPower · 19/06/2012 20:57

I have these Clarks beauties. They are mindbendingly ugly, but they're also the comfiest shoes I've ever owned. I'm 5'11" with size 9 broad feet and in chronic pain thanks to the dodgiest of hips (waiting for a big operation), so comfort >>> style, every time.

stressheaderic · 19/06/2012 21:10

I won't have a bad word said about Clarks. I'm on my feet all day and can't be doing with poncing about in high heels. Comfort all the way. And they last and look new forever. I heart Clarks.

Itsgottabebags · 19/06/2012 21:13

I was in Clarks last week and walked right out due to the lack of nice shoes. OP if you like them and they are comfy, go for it!

Lottapianos · 19/06/2012 21:51

I like Clarks, especially their boots. I didn't know it was frowned upon... though some of their stuff can be, er, odd I guess!

101handbags · 20/06/2012 10:07

I can see both sides here... they are not the prettiest/most stylish of sandals but I know they are the most comfortable as I bought a pair 9the navy ones) and wore them every day on a tour of Tuscany last summer. Not worn since, mind... but probably on another similar holiday. So I'm back to my 4 inch wedges and ballet pumps etc. and keeping these for touring holidays only.

fizzyapples · 20/06/2012 10:10

But I don't want my shoes to be 'Jolly' !

Chandon · 20/06/2012 10:13

my eyes!!!

Chandon · 20/06/2012 10:14
Wink

they're fine

KristinaM · 20/06/2012 11:07

Fizz-well flat red clarks sandals are never going to be sexy, elegant or on trend, are they?

slug · 20/06/2012 11:54

Ahh, thank you. I damaged my foot 4 months ago and, despite anti inflammatory and steroid injections I'm only just getting to the point where I can walk without lots of pain but only if I have a cushioned sole. I think I have now found my summer sandals.
