In my defence, I have a bad back and I don't drive so do loads of walking. I know Clarks get loads of stick especially on here but you can't beat them for comfort. Oh actually I don't care - do your worst!

You're welcome slug I'm wearing them again today, they are just fab. Some will sneer - let them. Hope your foot heals fast - I tore the ligaments in one of my ankles in March and it's been a right bugger.

OP I LOVE Clarks too. they are the only reasonably priced place which sell comfy shoes!

personally I wouldn't wear sandals like those as I have ugly feet - weird crooked toes - but if I had nice feet I would love to wear them!

I have bought Clarks natural movement shoes this season and they are AMAZINGLY comfy and someone asked me if they were made by Lacoste. (snorts)

I paid a special pilgrimage to see these today and, to borrow an adjective from Catpower they are indeed mindbendingly ugly in RL.
Pity as if they were only revoltingly ugly I would have been tempted!

Clarks shoes are amazingly comfortable. You never get blisters or sore feet in these beauties.

I have the un wave ones. They ae hideously ugly and I had to gird myself to buy them. They are, however, the most comfortable shoes I have ever worn. I have a neuroma on my nerve and I walked miles every day in Paris in them and had vv comfy feet and no joint pain.

I must confess I bought some Clarks today for fiveteen quid. Flat Mary Jane type shoes. Just the job!

RaPaPaPumPumBootyMum, they are the comfiest shoes in the world! I've got a bit of a "thing" for supposedly ugly shoes, I end up loving them in the same way as I love supposedly ugly dogs.

Not all clarks shoes are ugly. Most of them are, but not all!

CatPower, I don't think they're ugly either, I quite like them! Tomjoules, I've got my eye on the un wave ones for autumn/winter. I'm glad to hear they are so comfy. I love how their un structured shoes/boots are so light that they weigh almost nothing, but are sooooo supportive and comfy
