There we go!

OP posts:
MrsCampbellBlack · 15/06/2012 20:42

Ooooh Dec - I love Donna - met her at the focus group thing I did and regularly 'speak' on twitter. She is so genuinely nice and always always replies to tweets which I love.

MrsCampbellBlack · 15/06/2012 20:43

Yes its all for my children Amber - I am such a dutiful mother

Decameron · 15/06/2012 20:45

I thought she was very friendly and knows her stuff. She said she wears majors too.

They sure will, Amber. My DDs are already after my jewelry (little magpies).

MidnightinMoscow · 15/06/2012 20:47

Ok, have decided that I will wait until Tuesday and have a look in the flesh at the tan.

If it's not there, then so be it.

Thank you all for the advice.

Right, need to get DS to bed. Blush

MrsCampbellBlack · 15/06/2012 20:48

My DD who is 2 had a full blown tantrum when DH said he wouldn't buy her a diamond ring that would be up to some other man in the future. I mean seriously - magpie-tastic.

AmberNectarine · 15/06/2012 20:48

Oh yes, that is a favourite game in this house 'root through Mummy's jewellery box', the baby had all my rings on earlier! And DS commandeered Gracie to keep his Lightning McQueen in...

MrsCampbellBlack · 15/06/2012 20:49

Lordy - deja vu - we've had this conversation before haven't we about handbangs etc for our children - I remember talking about it on here with seventh.

Emo76 · 15/06/2012 20:50

aahhh so excited to see the Anya sale start - v tempted by that mini gracie!
Have also perused the Mulberry one - not great discounts, I think Net a Porter will be better.

I am a BIG Majors fan - have them in black and navy. Really get a LOT of wear from them.

-transmission ends

MrsCampbellBlack · 15/06/2012 20:52

What shoes do you wear with the majors? And are you very tall Emo?

suburban · 15/06/2012 20:59

Oh sob, I have broken our dishwasher by not putting the important basket thing back in after cleaning it this morning. As DP is anti dishwasher anyway I think I am going to have to wave goodbye to my mini Gracie fund.

FWIW MIM, I have had my eye on the tan for ages. I don't use a changing bag anymore, but when I did I used to put my keys, wallet phone in a small messenger bag so as not to have too much rummaging, so maybe you can justify it that way.

We haven't seen PIL since last August which is sad for DP, but it always has to be us that makes the effort which is so hard. I think it comes down to a combination of MIL getting her baby fix from other children in the village and their absolute reluctance to travel.

MarshaBrady · 15/06/2012 21:04

I like the look of these

Oh bad luck Suburban. What a pita.

MrsCampbellBlack · 15/06/2012 21:06

Oooh Suburban are you sure you can't fix it? And seeing your post has reminded me that I was going to mention that some friends and I have started a little blog you may recognise some of them as old time S&B'ers.

Not sure if I'm allowed to mention it on mn though so will understand if it gets deleted.

mrscb I often wear them with ballet flats, sometimes I tuck in to knee or mid boots as if they are regular skinnies. I have also been known to wear them with my running trainers for comfort in the park! I am tallish.
I got all confused by that blog and thought they were all the same person at first ha!

oh bgger suburban* what a pain. Can you can drain it, dry out and try again?

suburban · 15/06/2012 21:31

Hopefully, I spent all afternoon getting water out with my aromatherapy pipette. Whilst DD sang Bob the Builder and caused general havoc. DP is quite handy so could probably fix it himself. But he has been itching to get rid ever since we moved in, so am thinking my best bet is to just pay for someone to fix/replace it whilst he is away next week....

Great blog MrsCB, The pregnant lady looks incredible, and someone wearing my primark poppy tee much better than me Grin Which one are you?

I don't really think it matters if you mention it, so long as you are not hyper selling your styling services Wink I've only ever mentioned my own once to someone I genuinely thought would be interested and it didn't get pulled.

I think WIT is starting to realise the realities of being pregnant and her posts are all the better for it.

CHOOGIRL · 15/06/2012 21:33

I have a mini-Gracie in blue that I may be putting on eBay this weekend. As I need to fund this as an investment for my daughter.

MrsCampbellBlack · 15/06/2012 21:36

Aha ballet flats - if only I wasn't such a munchkin.

Yes we need to make it clearer we're different people - still very embryonic but thanks for looking Smile

Emo76 · 15/06/2012 21:38

Just to say mrscb there are some FAB outfits on that blog. Just great.

remember choogirl speculate to accumulate....!

MrsCampbellBlack · 15/06/2012 21:47

Well let's say I'm not the 5ft10 super model and neither am I pregnant Wink

Thanks Emo.

And yes the pregnant lady does indeed look totally amazing - I saw her for lunch on Sunday and well lets just say I didn't look like that at 8 months pregnant. Banishes image of a person as wide as tall from my mind.

Undecided on colour SE Like the neutral tones and black. Was procrastinating in store earlier.

Hopefully · 15/06/2012 22:09

MrsCB love the blog, looks good. Making it clearer it's different people would be good, agreed. Lots of fab outfits though.

I haven't given into investing in bags for my sons children yet, but am lucky enough to have a couple of lovely pieces of jewellery which I will pass on to some lucky DIL, I imagine (unless my sister manages to produce a girl. I think we've established I breed boy children).

Oh and Amber I'm not utterly committed bag-wise, but I think I'll probably get an Alexa. Would love to save for a Balenciaga but (a) I'm going to need a bag sooner than that and (b) I think I would have The Fear using a bag that expensive for everyday.

Have had a mega-chocolate binge tonight. Gotta love PMT. at least mine is easily cured Grin

MrsCampbellBlack · 15/06/2012 22:10

Dishwashers clean much better than hand washing surely?

I love the marcie - I so want the petrol for my 'life begins' birthday Wink. But not sure DH is on message - he keeps muttering about how many handbags I have already.

I made [be impressed Hopefully] a bag for DS2 to store his pencils in - he calls it his 'man bag' and that's without any prompting from me. So . . . career in fashion for him perhaps.

MrsCampbellBlack · 15/06/2012 22:11

Hopefully I had 2 boys and then 'surprise' DD.
