There we go!

Yeah, I really don't like black bags, as my lurid collection will attest. Get the tan. Hopefully is right about the detail.

dumbo1 · 15/06/2012 19:53

If you go for black do the shagreen one as it has some detail on it

I have a black snakeskin valorie and it is so beautiful

I am a bit of ah addict

rufus101 · 15/06/2012 19:54

Can I put my oar in MIM? I'd get the green one! Think the black too ordinary and could get a cheap lookalike. Whereas you can tell straight away the green or blue is a Gracie.
Decam your MIL is very thoughtless. Mind you my sister and I are always moaning about ours. My DPs love to hear about them etc but are very reluctant to make the trip to see them. They are both in fine fettle health wise but have become more and more insular. My mother says brightly "would you think of making a trip home", but doesnt get that my DSis and I are on call a lot, nevermind the fact that the kids have lots of weekend activities like sport and dancing etc. They just dont get it.
Have a good night NY, hope you escaped from the hairdressers!
Get some alcohol Red. The Irish solution! You'll feel better!
Ollie you make me feel terribly inadequate. You're so crafty.
Like Annie, no option here but to RTW. Couldn't step off the ladder. Just not an option. Rufus who?! Still now the DC are older, the child care is easier and actually less £££.
Have a good weekend everyone!

MidnightinMoscow · 15/06/2012 19:56

I love the tan, but I am thinking that in the winter I would wear the Roxy, so tan wouldn't go with that.

Most colours I wear are: Navy, White, Grey, Black and Cream. (HoC nightmare)

Agree that the black doesn't show the design as well as other designs.

Like the colbalt SE, but I am not sure it would work with my wardrobe.

Wish it came in a navy.

So, is it a wise purchase after all?

I am now officially bonkers.

MrsCampbellBlack · 15/06/2012 19:57

So tried on j brand majors today and omg - how flattering even on my plumpy little thighs! Dec - you've got some haven't you?

I am on day 3 of low-carbing - such fun. But 10lbs to go.

MidnightinMoscow · 15/06/2012 19:57

Oh, please don't remind me that the full size Gracie comes in navy. Grin

dumbo1 · 15/06/2012 19:57

It might come in navy next season as midnight navy is one of the colours featuring in the collection

Worth calling the store

MidnightinMoscow · 15/06/2012 19:58

See thats the thing MrsCB, I really want to get some new indigo JBrands on Tuesday...hence my hesitation at the Gracie too.

MrsCampbellBlack · 15/06/2012 19:58

I think the nude woul work with the roxy - the black wouldn't. And nude with navy is very chic.

You wear similar colous to me and have similar colouring and I've got the Anya studded shoulder bag from last year in tan and have used it loads.

Russianred · 15/06/2012 19:59

Cobalt will work with all of the colours you wear MiM - it will look fab with Roxy, that's for sure and bridges the day to night transition. Have a look at WIT for some pics of it being worn with different things. It's the one I'd go for, definitely.

MrsCampbellBlack · 15/06/2012 20:00

Oh I love the valerie in midnight - dumbo - I can see you're going to fit right in.

MIM don't make a rushed decision - there seems to be loads of the mini gracies around and I bet they'll be at Bicester soon.

Hopefully · 15/06/2012 20:00

MIM I really think that the blue would go well with all colours you mention. But the nude would also. Think black is the weaker option - black bag unnecessary with black jacket

MidnightinMoscow · 15/06/2012 20:00

I should be chucked off the thread for the following:

a) letting the Gracie go in the first place

b) not knowing what colour to get

c) now thinking that although I love it, it's not the bag for me.

But I really like it

Hopefully · 15/06/2012 20:02

MIM if you're admiring it but not picturing it in your outfits, maybe leave it and wait for a more perfect bag? I feel that way about many many bags (including the Gracie)

MrsCampbellBlack · 15/06/2012 20:02

Order it and try at home with all your outfits. I ahem have the cobalt and think its more of a summer bag - I wouldn't wear it with black but then I don't wear a great deal of black.

AntPants1 · 15/06/2012 20:06

MIM I am SEROIUSLY tempted by the coral gracie. EMO has a Gracie in nude and it's lovely....I admired much I Brighton!!!

MIM have just checked my inbox. Westfield are having a sale weekend. That might mean even more off a Gracie in HOF?? Worth a phone all to check. I could pop in on Sunday for you....

MarshaBrady · 15/06/2012 20:08

MIM I say coral. If you get it.

Your bag colour dilemma sure beats putting the dc to bed.

MarshaBrady · 15/06/2012 20:11

Oh that wasn't on your list was it. Nude then.

Nearly everyone has one, will have one now on here.

dumbo1 · 15/06/2012 20:12

I got my ah bag from Westfield via a telephone order today they told me that they keep the sale prices the same as ah stores

Worth giving it a go by phone

Nice sales staff

AmberNectarine · 15/06/2012 20:13

Ooh black on black, no. I think nude will work with roxy, and I am planning on wearing my green Gracie and my cobalt MaxMara with my black leather jacket. You know what colour they need to do mini Gracie in? Grey.

Decameron · 15/06/2012 20:17

I will be the perfect grandmother, offering babysitting, advice only when requested and will insist on buying my daughters a handbag a year.

I think tan, MiM. I have a black Gracie but only ever use it at night.

MrCB, I am wearing navy majors now, great trousers. Emo has them too. In fact, I bought them from the wonderful Donna Ida herself.

Decameron · 15/06/2012 20:17

Dumbo, I'm a fellow addict.

AmberNectarine · 15/06/2012 20:20

Our daughters are going to inherit some awesome bags, actually.
