Sorry to hear about your rubbish estate agent experience, hopefully. I'm not surprised that you were cross! I can't say that I have ever met an efficient, conscientious one although I'm sure there are some!

MIM- love your culinary enthusiasm. Cooking is so much more enjoyable than any other household task as you can use some creativity and create something delicious. I know someone who is in catering down here. It works well in terms of flexibility with the DC although a lot of the work is at the weekend.
portia- hope the final outfit was lovely! It must be much harder shopping with teens as their opinions get stronger and stronger, I imagine!
blue- Cambridge must have been beautiful today. I lived there pre DC (had DD1 there) and I love it. I also love vintage bits in interiors. I guess I tend to like a neutral back drop but am also incapable of being minimalist and have to add some colour, etc.
