There we go!

OP posts:
DonaAna · 24/06/2012 22:44

Pickled I'm getting the pastels-on-white floral 7FAMs from MW at least for trying on. I also love the other darker more Monet-inspired pair, but will first see how well the other pair fits. They also have a pencil skirt with the same Monet pattern. I was thinking of looking for 7FAMs when I was in the States in April but forgot - too many other distractions.

I think Pinterest is a new thing, hence the invitations (remember when gmail was by invitation only ;)). I got mine about 24 hrs after asking for it.

pickledsiblings · 24/06/2012 22:57

Have requested an invite (DH is one step ahead of me on this) and will probably be bombarding you both with questions once I'm 'in'. Thanks again Smile.

Marsha, you haven't had much luck with getting a dress this season have you? I'm sure it's all down to the weather. Bet if you were living 'La Dona Vita' you'd have no problem.

Dona, I love the bright blue flowers in the Monet ones.

MarshaBrady · 24/06/2012 23:00

Slack Pickled slack. But am ever the optimist.

It will happen! Like the Stella McCartney scarf of 2011, that took six months Grin

Portia4 · 24/06/2012 23:01

Very elegant dress choice SE, thank you, I'm feeling the W&A love!

I too am loving the Pinterest boards , and would love to see anyones who'd care to share.

Amber I had saved your picture of the Goldsigns as I really liked them. DD1,was looking for jeans today, and tried some on, liked them but had never heard of them, I was delighted to tell her that a very stylish 'friend' of mine, closer in age to her than me, has a pair! She also got a pair of denim JBrands, both were reduced to ?95 each in the sales.

Has anyone seen Salsa jeans, there supposed to work wonders on the derriere!

I saw a lovely navy leather jacket in Massimo Dutti, not in the sale, I will be in Spain next week and will check it out, as MD tends to be cheaper there. I bought a pair of Chelsea boots with a heel there, in the sale.
H&M have oxblood coated skinnies reduced to ?15.99, if anyone is interested.

Decameron · 25/06/2012 06:45

Marsha, COH dark avedon skinnies on sale here.

It was nice to have DH home except I had to watch football with him (not really my thing)!

Lovely scarf and coat, Bloss. I can never open your Jigsaw links but I like a lot of what they have at the moment.

I've tried to sign up to Pinterest a couple of times but the invitation never came through. I will pm you now, Hopefully, if that's ok.

Decameron · 25/06/2012 06:48

Reine, four hours sleep, how do you do it? I only saw my father at weekends too so it doesn't seem that odd to me but I felt sorry for DD1 when she got upset.

dexter73 · 25/06/2012 06:49

Just delurking to say tonnes of massively reduced denim (loads of different brands/colours) at Harvey Nicks and Harrods yesterday. I got some black Roxannes for £60 from £155 and dd got some Levis skinny jeans for £38 from £110. Well worth a trip!

AmberNectarine · 25/06/2012 06:59

Morning all

DH off to Budapest today for a few days, so expect to see even more of me than usual. Why does he never get to go to the US or France or somewhere he could bring me back something fabulous?

Glad the Pinterest is a hit. Like Dona I'm finding it really useful for seeing combinations I would have otherwise. Really recommend it.

AmberNectarine · 25/06/2012 07:00

dexter music to my ears, am off to Knightsbrogr tomorrow morning!

Decameron · 25/06/2012 07:32

Me too, thanks Dexter.

DonaAna · 25/06/2012 07:54

Someone please snatch these.
I would, but all maxed out on credit cards - and if I still buy something, it's either the Marant dress or 7FAM Monet jeans.
Sending you all good sale shopping vibes! Love this time of year!

suburban · 25/06/2012 08:02

Oooh good find Dona

Just catching up after a weekend of clearing the garden, I am afraid my nails may never recover.

Really enjoying all the Pinterest boards, am now following Dona, Amber and Hopefully any more?

It's sunny here today am happy with my outfit of American Apparel Navy Maxi skirt, fuchsia tee and tan sandals.

DonaAna · 25/06/2012 08:08

Also, a few Lily and Lionel city scarves on sale at HN. Suburban your outfit sounds lovely, love jewel colors!

AmberNectarine · 25/06/2012 08:13

I've decided the next thing I buy will be the CE leopard jeans in grey, if I can find a 27. Kind of glad the floral jeans thing has passed me by, could have been expensive!

blossoming · 25/06/2012 08:26

blue, I'm wearing my boden chiffon placket cardigan today. I really like the way it goes over this vest in navy with my grey agnes. One of my favourite spring outfits in fact!

DonaAna · 25/06/2012 09:08

A simple outfit for Monday: a navy denim shift dress, narrow brown belt, brightened up with orange Stylesnob ballerinas and green Mini Gracie when I go out.

notyummy · 25/06/2012 09:21

Morning all.

Still recovering from busy, boozy, foody weekend which was loads of fun but probably not that healthy. Did manage to get out for a run through Roundhay Park in Leeds on Saturday though, inbetween showers. Nothing of S and B note,(which helped my self-imposed ban) although my new Zara dress was complimented by hosts and wore it again to a birthday party yesterday afternoon and it went down well there as well.

I nearly wavered in my resolve when I saw that the link from Decameron to the COH Avedon jeans on sale. The only thing holding me back is that I found the 28s quite big on me (which means they must generally be quite generously sized, as I realy am not smaller than a 28) and the only ones left are 28 or bigger. They are great skinnies though and feel lovely on.

Hope you are completely recovered Ollie. By sticking only to top quality red wine I seem to avoided the worst of hangover symptoms at the weekend. Just tired - friends two children are much earlier risers than we are used to... DD also shattered as she was sharing with their son who she gets on really well with, but he got her up at 6am both days when she would usually have been asleep for at least another hour/hour and half! Did some drunken hot tubbing in the rain at midnight on Friday night - the weather really was awful but it was quite fun in the warm bubbly water watching the rain hammer into the wine glasses Grin.

Envy of your trip to Spain Portia.

Enjoy the jeans shopping Amber and Decameron - I will have to live vicariously through you....
I may be tempted by the Zara sale, especially as any purchases are likely to come out of next months salary.

Thank you Decam! Have ordered. What a star, they were full price in Liberty.

But I got my usual size, on reading NY's post really hope they are not too big.

Love reading about outfits. Today I am in Paul&Joe dark fine wool shorts with tuxedo stripe down the side and Bassike light grey cross back tank. My most summery outfit and one of my faves.

NY they have a 27. Not in right order. Second from bottom.

Decameron · 25/06/2012 09:53

just quickly as have cross baby on knee, Me and Em sale is on. I really recommend the martini dress which is half price. Woohoo for jeans, Marsha!

AmberNectarine · 25/06/2012 10:03

Outfit report: v casual today, faded 910s, grey T Alexander Wang muscle vest, marni for H&M sliver sandals. Hoping the sandals brighten up what is otherwise a pretty grungey look. May need to recruit pink Raoul.

Glad you got your jeans marsha. I have grey avedons, they are like wearing leggings in that they are so comfy. Great jeans.

alwaysrunninginheels · 25/06/2012 10:09

notyummy can I please pick your brains. Saw Leeds mentioned.....so am planning a day there from York soon. Where is good for shopping? Is the parking easy there or do you P&R etc and what is good for kids to do- ages 5/8/10???? All info would be fab as planning to persuade everyone to come with me for the day....and then have a wee sneaky hour or two alone if I find something fun for them to do with daddy!!

MarshaBrady · 25/06/2012 10:20

Oh my floral current elliot have arrived. And I love them! The packaging is indeed divine these days too.

I know floral print is nearly over, but they are so soft and summery and bluish. So nice!

Amber Raoul would be great with that. I love the grungier colours with a neon.

Decam I shall offer you a glass of bubbles at our next mu Grin.

BUT trying these I have realised that I am clueless about sizing for the other ones so am going to fly into Liberty and check which ones. I think I got it wrong.

MidnightinMoscow · 25/06/2012 10:31
