ARIH I couldnt believe how quickly he raised the contract issue in 50 Shades of Grey and then showed her 'the room'! Im really struggling to understand the books appeal too. Im reading it with my nose all wrinked up!

After no RL shopping for about a month I have negotiated a whole 2 hours to myself tomorrow and will be hot footing it to Zara, white company and whistles. Excited! Want dressy and casual shorts and a maxi. And a sequin cardigan. And the perfect cross body bag re size and colour which clearly doesn't exist for me I should have for Gracie shouldn't I.

AmberNectarine · 18/06/2012 14:44

belsize we love delurkers! Apart from the originals who set this thread up, we have all had to delurk at some point. You will see there is a whole range of budgets on the thread too, and many different shopping styles too. One of the things I love about this thread is the variety, some of us are literally at polar ends of the style spectrum, yet all input is valued. We have also had some very stylish pregnancies on here, so don't let that deter you. You definitely seem to have similar style to me btw, I almost bought that VW but still have an unworn one from last year.

Ah, lovely day. Sitting in Victoria Park in Bath enjoying the sunshine, while the baby roots through Gracie and DS drags DH down the slides. On to CP later where I will be rocking the Barbour/skinnies/Hunters combo for the next 5 days I suspect...

Nothing really tickling my fancy on NAP except bloss's VL bikini, which I may order. Happily my skanky black speedo one piece has managed to convince DH that swimwear is an essential purchase. Had it been a jumpsuit I was after I suspect he may not have been as accommodating...

blue2711 · 18/06/2012 14:44

Bought, obviously. Grr to phone.

blue2711 · 18/06/2012 14:46

Which Barbour do you have amber? Enjoy CP.

MarshaBrady · 18/06/2012 14:46

Belsize stick around.

I think Hopefully was it, got loads of hits on her blog when linked, which probably does mean a few lurkers. I don't mind at all really.

And yes de-lurkers are fab. It's great having new people bringing more links and suggestions!

Love the VWA dress.

AmberNectarine · 18/06/2012 14:46

Gracie was on NAP this morning blue...

AmberNectarine · 18/06/2012 14:49

I've got a navy international, blue, the waterproof type, not the waxed. Was half price in Jan sales and has been worn most days since so one oft better buys. Thanks British climate.

AmberNectarine · 18/06/2012 14:49

of my, obvs.

OllieinOrange · 18/06/2012 14:55

ASOS Aggies are reduced. Those of you who (Portia or Fritzi?) said they were not v comfy - was it the angle of the heel that made them so? I can't walk in heels with a sharp inverted heel if that makes sense?

MidnightinMoscow · 18/06/2012 15:13

Quickly running in to say to tell you about my morning.

Popped into town after taking DD for her 12 week jabs. Needed milk, a birthday card...y'know, the usual boring stuff.

Came home with a tan Gracie. Blush

Back later with the full tale.

Marni23 · 18/06/2012 15:17

Delurking to say thanks Amber for the heads-up on Goldsign skinnies in Selfridges sale. Mine arrived today and am now wearing them! They are fab and you were right about sizing down. I love them, so thanks.

OllieinOrange · 18/06/2012 15:21

Oh MiM I am really pleased for you. It was meant to be.

OllieinOrange · 18/06/2012 15:25

Pretty Zara printed top - like the ecru here

notyummy · 18/06/2012 15:27

Tha's nice Ollie.

Well done MIM.

Hello to all delurkers.

AntPants1 · 18/06/2012 15:49

Am at work so cannot look at NAP or links. Probably just as well. Hello to delurkers!

Fleecy · 18/06/2012 15:50

Yay mim Grin

annie I had a clothing dilemma the other day and turned to you for inspiration - needed an outfit for a Saturday night out so smart and dressy-ish but I was going with some real jeans and trainers people. Tricky. Solved the problem with your favourite look of shorts and a slightly cropped, open weave jumper, paired with strappy (or should that be stroppy?!) sandals. DH really liked it. Thanks for the tip off on your Pinterest page!

Not buying anything from NAP either although was tempted by the VL bikinis. You going to buy more bloss?

Congratulations belsize. I think the dresses are quite classic and I wore a VWA right through my last pregnancy as it was so beautifully stretchy. Keep!

MarshaBrady · 18/06/2012 15:53

I'm a big fan shorts, jumper look, one of my favourite outfits too. Sounds fab Fleecy.

Bravo MiM!

belsize77 · 18/06/2012 16:04

Loobylu3 - I don't know if you ever look on ebay but one of the Crumpet scarves you linked to is listed at the moment. I have just bought this pink Crumpet scarf from another ebay seller for 55 quid. They took an offer and accept returns so I thought I would take a look at it to see if it seems genuine. They have a few different colours and one other pink print one but they are the larger stole sized scarves.

Thanks for the kind comments everyone. Delurking wasn't as bad as I had imagined.

DonaAna · 18/06/2012 16:09

Hello delurkers!
I started a Pinterest board to keep track of what clothes I have.
Since it's online I might just as well share it with you:
pinterest.com/nikolaigogol/just-trying-on/

alwaysrunninginheels · 18/06/2012 16:11

He he Ollie can you imagine your book group discussing the pros and cons of signing a submissive contract???? Seriously do wonder where the author got the idea from- there clearly is another world out there that i know nothing about!!!

Can i also ask blue if you do find a sequin cardigan could you lmk/link it. I returned the sequin zara coat like one as it finished too far down for it to work for me. I need jackets/cardigans that finish at my hip boney bits! But foolishly wasnt fast enough for the IO one!

alwaysrunninginheels · 18/06/2012 16:26

preview12 for trilogy sale

Hopefully · 18/06/2012 16:49

Decam I used to own a lovely flat in belsize park, it's such a nice area, isn't it?

Dona off to check out your pinterest board. I love pinterest. Anyone else on there?

Fleecy · 18/06/2012 16:51

Am following you donaana - what season are you?

I put shopping lists on there (well, one so far!) and contemplate before buying.

suburban · 18/06/2012 16:58

Hi Belsize Congratulations, when are you due? I am a recent de lurker too. I'd keep the dress at least you can wear for a while now and will have something nice when DC is born too Smile

Dona That's such a good idea I am going to copy. I have a pinterest board of looks I want to emulate if anyone is interested here must remember to update it more.

Ollie I have downloaded 50 shades too Blush. Only just got to the room/contract bit, not sure if I can be bothered with much more. It's a bit like the Dragon Tattoo book where I keep reading, but not enjoying just to see what all the fuss is about.

Shame about the dishwasher Decameron but like you say at least will be replaced at LL's expense not yours.

Congratulations on the Anya purchase MiM Wink
