Thanks for the returns advice - I went straight for it, and they were fine. It was £38 in the end, which is not too be sniffed at!
In terms of the sales, do we think MiH Paris will go in? I love the union red ones, have tried them on, and they fit perfectly. Reluctant to pay full price though when the sales are just around the corner. They have them in the event in HoF at the moment, but sold out in my size.
Interesting to hear all the talk about legs and viens. I have dreadful VV's, had them operated on about 10 years ago, but them came back when I was pg. I use the Sally Hanson stuff, which is good but they have got far worse in the last year and am struggling to cover them. Shame, as I like the shape of my legs but not what they look like from behind. 
Looby lots to think about, although agree you'll need help after a section with the DC's and general household stuff. Its hard to look after yourself when you have some much going on, just remembering to put your TEDS back on, etc. I took painkillers for about 2 weeks, although just some paracetamol and volterol.
Love the unsisterly cackle reine! I will be intrigued too.
