That HN advert is bleurch. I assume they did it like that for younger women. I'd be amazed if it works for anyone. Confused

Decam great bag, welcome back. My father is like that. LOADS of pictures and the parents don't really help and the amount of breakable stuff at toddler height is unbelievable (well when ds2 was 1 when we last went). Although I should say they are very generous. But it can be hard work, or would be without dh.

Dh and I did the frisson over the water cooler thing. Work relationships are easy, no will he or won't he call. He's right there.

MidnightinMoscow · 13/06/2012 16:24

Petiterat here are the knickers.

I hate the HN campaign! On my soap box for a second here, but incontinence is something I have to deal with everyday at work and the embarrassing effects of it for people so I hate a joke being made of it.

Rant over.

Lovely AH Decam.

blossoming · 13/06/2012 16:29

Sorry can't help you petitrat with the knickers thing. Love the 20% off at figleaves though and have stocked up on essentials. Not sure what you're looking for but I bought these last week and am really happy with them.
Love the bag decam, and half price too. You have been really patient with that one!
That gracie is gorgeous mrscb.
Get in there everything!
Thinking about what absolutely has not worked really in my wardrobe and I have no idea why, is the barbour cameron.
Summer holiday essentials arrived today: gradual tanner with firming lotion! SPF with 'sun enhancer', and after sun with a hint of fake tan. I am a lady on a mission! All St Trop.

I agree with you mim (and it affects me when I do shred level 1 too vigorously!)

Have no idea about the knickers Petit.
Go for it SE. Nothing like a little mild flirtation to up your spirits and your game! (Not the married guy. That could have a bad ending)
Decam, great bag but sorry to hear that it was a stressful week. Takes all the good out of it. Next time your back you should arrange some baby sitters do that you're not carrying the load all the time. Plenty of local lovely girls in secondary who would be perfect. Can point you in the right direction if you like. Did you look at any houses?
That was a very quick year Portia and boarding school next! Wish I could pack my 8 yo DD off at the moment. Was hysterically weeping this morning as getting called a nerd and geek by some stupid boys at school. Told her she should reply in the manner of Bill Gates "be nice to nerds, someday you'll work for one".

blossoming · 13/06/2012 16:50

Poor thing rufus. Love the comment though.
Are you after any violet lake? I have a 20% off if you're interested, just pm.
And on the subject of those boots, I used to have a very similar pair which I loved to death. From my former favourite shoe shop Ravel, back at the turn of the millenium! They were leather though, not mesh. I would buy them again if I could!

mim, I am back in love with my 910s after trying on the 811s, and thinking of getting them in black.
You can get them cheaply in heliotrope too.

AmberNectarine · 13/06/2012 18:30

Oh bloss I got all hopeful there, but they don't have my size :(

MidnightinMoscow · 13/06/2012 18:55

Bloss I sized down in my black 910's as they have a slightly different make up to indigo ones, more lycra I think.

alwaysrunninginheels · 13/06/2012 18:58

Just wondering if anyone has a heads up on when the mulberry sale is going to start????
Mhhhh really like those jeans also. Had been looking at them before at matches along with the leopard print ones which I thankfully saw the error of...... And as I have just returned my equipment blouse to matches it would just be like a swap really wouldn't it? Are they a blue grey or grey grey fitzi?

Decameron · 13/06/2012 19:25

Rufus, I think I get some names, thanks. I need to email Conor, I had a load of questions for him. It is now Surrey vs. Dublin! Your poor DD.

Bloss, yes, sometimes it pays to wait! Are the 911s very low? I am still at the playground/toddler group stage.

Ollie, is your friend having chemo? Sorry, I can't remember. If so, a silk pillowcase is good. The gift bag sounds lovely.

Sorry Blue about your friend's mum, it is such a sad situation,

Marsha, my dad is also very generous and gets lonely so I feel a bit mean complaining, but then he can't handle the noise or having his nice house messed up when we are there. DD1 told him he was getting a fat tummy, which did not go down well! She's four so brutally honest.

Decameron · 13/06/2012 19:26

That should be Rufus, I think I will get some names. DD2 didn't go to sleep until after 9 last night, then woke at 1, 5 and 7. ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ.

Emo76 · 13/06/2012 19:34

Back from Paris. Trip went well, no shopping time though!

Things at home however NOT good - DD1 very rude to DH yesterday eve and has had various things confiscated. DD2 was then up at 3am. This has spiralled in to a rant from DH about how I am never here in the evenings (not true) and how unhappy he is about various other aspects of his and our life. He's crossing the line between grumpy and unacceptable verbal abuse. Hmmm. This has all been brewing for a while. Of course we can't have a grown up discussion because he's taken the opportunity of me being home to go out drinking since lunch and is now p*ssed and out Angry and if there was a hypocritial smiley I would use it.

So you see, whilst it may often sound like I have a wonderful life with interesting and good job, lovely daughters and nice home (all true and I am grateful for it) in fact things are not at all perfect and today I am feeling pretty Sad cheered only by the news that the AH sale is imminent and of course the dear faces of my DDs.

And breathe....

FritziGreenEyes · 13/06/2012 19:40

always They are blue-grey.

FritziGreenEyes · 13/06/2012 19:45

emo

FritziGreenEyes · 13/06/2012 19:46

Tried to send an un-MN hug in those brackets

Decameron · 13/06/2012 19:46

Emo, really sorry to hear that.

DonaAna · 13/06/2012 19:50

MrsCB, I've also been toying with the idea of getting a Marcie.
For me, it would be more of an autumn bag.
The other big temptation is a navy 2.55 jumbo.

AmberNectarine · 13/06/2012 20:00

emo sorry to hear things tough at home. I hope your DH returns contrite. I think we all know that no relationship is perfect. I get annoyed at times when friends tell me how great I have it - high powered husband, well off, lovely wardrobe etc. They seem to forget (or maybe not realise) that it comes at a price - we rarely see each other, when we do we are stressed and knackered, holidays are always, always interrupted, I never get any time off etc. It's so hard to find that balance. Take heart from your lovely girls, and buy yourself something nice from Anya.

Decameron · 13/06/2012 20:12

I rarely see DH either and we're not even loaded to make up Wink. A friend said last week to me, why is he always working, is he avoiding you? Charming. She wasn't joking either.

MrsCB, that is a lovely bag and you do have a Life begins at birthday coming up!

notyummy · 13/06/2012 20:12

Emo- From what you have said, things have been a bit up and down at home for a while. It must be very draining. We go through phases when we seem to really irritate each other for a while, but it isn't fundamental- just sniping. It must be difficult to know when it becomes something more. Sending you lots of strength.

notyummy · 13/06/2012 20:15

Help out an idiot here. Lactose intolerant- means no milk, yes? So no milk, cream, butter, cheese? What about things with little bits in like chocolate? Having a Big Deal Dinner Party (DH work related) and kne guest is lactose intolerant.

AntPants1 · 13/06/2012 20:20

EMO sorry about your rubbish homecoming. Big hug
