Excellent! Grin

SO much easier!

Hopefully · 07/06/2012 13:45

Red if you wait till Nov I'll be able to do your style for you Smile. And Blue you can come this way for a hokiday or something Wink. Colour training in a couple of months, style training in autumn. So excited!

Drastic gamine perfectly feasible (there are plenty of celeb who are), but red you pull off your lace and girly stuff so well i'd be amazed if there wasn't some ingenue/romantic in there

Having a bit of a housebound day as I just CBA to get everyone weatherproofed to go to town. We have drawn round each other, done jigsaws, painted and watched a cartoon. Ideas to get through till 4pm with baby and preschooler much appreciated!

Hopefully · 07/06/2012 13:46

Dramatic gamine. Would be interested to see a drastic gamine! Grin

Russianred · 07/06/2012 13:46

Excellent Marsha. Evening of Friday 27th July and then just need to check with DH as to when we're going to be heading off. Sunday 29th and Monday 30th also possibilities.

Russianred · 07/06/2012 13:55

Interesting Hopefully - I have looked through the types now and see your point. Ingenue sounds more likely, I think and dramatic not so much. I have to wait till the Autumn anyway and imagine you'd be my nearest consultant!

Brillaint Emo. Yes Marsha, so, so much easier!

suburban · 07/06/2012 14:01

Urgh what a hideous day. It is such a shame about your waft, but have images of maxis soaking up water to the knees like bootleg jeans used to...

We are housebound today as well Hopefully. Had friends round this morning and DD was such a brat screeching whenever the other children touched her toys, wanting the tv on etc Blush Might do some baking just so I can comfort eat the results Grin

I would be up for a south west/midlands style day too Smile

I like the sound of calf encompassing jeans. I often have to wrench myself into the lower part of jeans just so that they don't gape around the hips and waist.
Red I still wear my pink jeans a lot, it is just the shade of the Topshop ones that is porcine.

Amber I really hope you are getting some rest today. I am a public fainter too it's hideous. Could your DH/parents do the nursery run for you so you don't have to get up and out tomorrow?

I am hunting for a navy crew neck jumper that isn't completely synthetic, budget roughly £50 if anyone sees one.

Hopefully · 07/06/2012 14:58

I would just like to mention that having a tub of cream cheese frosting in the freezer is a Bad Idea. Especially when stuck at home and in need of toddler levels of energy Blush

The VB range for NAP. I like a lot

alwaysrunninginheels · 07/06/2012 15:41

Oh I never thought I would say this but love the VB dresses you linked to. The blue one with the pockets is gorgeous.....thankfully sold out already in my size. But they are lovely!

blossoming · 07/06/2012 16:10

Sugar coma here too. Just eaten half a white toblerone. My secret indulgence after braving S'sburys! My DCs love lunch there, but since they put the calorie count up on the meals, I can only bring myself to order the jacket spuds! Wish everywhere did that. It's going to be a calorific day and a half tomorrow. DH has demanded politely requested bacon for breakfast. I shall be making chocolate cake for tea, then we're off to a 5* establishment for cocktails, then a meal out, then breakfast next morning.... Ah well. Am definitely not biking tonight in this weather to do any offsetting.
Have been to Chester and bought the boots from R&B that I wasn't sure about before. I'll try and put a photo on my profile later, but they're a leather shoe boot, with a strap detail, and, what worried me, a gold buckle. I like them too much, and I know I will have much use out of them: good for daytime lunches out etc, and okay for evening for me too. And the best bit, no word of a like, they are fleece lined! Yes I am Welsh, and mainly cold!
M&S sale started and I bought this swimming costume. Bought DD some Hello Kitty sunglasses and she hasn't taken them off - in this weather!

Pressed Post too soon! Got my hands on this White Co cardigan to wear over a slim fit breton top, the one I have from Jigsaw, and to any fellow dramatic winters this v neck white tee from Jigsaw, is really good. Very Jillian Michaels though.
Just realised I don't have any bacon in. Best go back out.
I'm really sorry the waft is cancelled. Grr weather.
I'll be in London around that time too, but going home on the Friday unfortunately.

Hello....

Well, surviving the half term break, despite the awful weather. Usual guaranteed safe havens for entertaining DCs a wash out! Know it's because I just spent 200 squid on kiddies summer shoes (kids mostly wearing wellies though!!!), and stupidly bought 'high summer' stuff - bought 2 WC dresses (ash linen and ash shirred detail), a navy linen dress and white cotton dress from Noa Noa. Oh, and Whitestuff short turn up shorts I found to be good. Oh, and 2 Lexington beach towels...v nice. I hope this weather turns, but in any event, looking forward to proper hols in France.

Did manage to have a girls drinks eve last week, and wore new Zara blazer, grey zipped skinnies and wedge sandals....then had kids disco, and Jubilee Party in the sun on Monday - result!

Ooh, I think its brightening up. Thanks heavens for Usborne sticker books (of which we have several million), and DCs who like to make things out of any old trash useful bit of cardboard.

Rather like their Mother, though, I fear...who has been painting all manner of objets and furniture, in varying shades of off white/grey/taupe etc...and accessorising with all sorts of vintage fabrics...really, really excited about the new place - can you tell? They are allowing us to have french windows on our bedroom....cannot wait....., But really, we are ecstatic!

Oh, and appears Dad is making good progress...was in icu for 2 weeks, v seriously ill, but now on ward. Fingers crossed. Count your blessings....Smile

Hopefully · 07/06/2012 16:56

VB dresses are fab. Luckily not remotely appropriate for my shape, or my wishlist would grow further!

Off to do Insanity while DH sits in the car with both boys asleep after picking him up Grin

FritziGreenEyes · 07/06/2012 16:57

So sorry to hear that the waft MU is cancelled. I had imagined that I could virtually attend in this dress, sipping champagne, DCs all playing nicely together. Smile

AmberNectarine · 07/06/2012 17:52

Anyone after Mulberry, Flannels has great reductions...

Ugh, just seen the weather forecast for tomorrow '.. and Wales is of particular concern...' So I guess the maxi dress option is out. Will have a try on session later.

Oh dear, Amber, I wish you hadn't pointed that out ....

(but thanks ...)

MidnightinMoscow · 07/06/2012 19:27

Shame Bloss, are you forecast for heavy rain?

Glad to hear your Dad is moving in the right direction Dauphin, fingers crossed for you all.

I need to take my quilted flats back to R&B. I have only had them for a few months, but only worn 10 or so times, but the sole is coming away and they let in lots of water today. Not impressed!

CaroleService · 07/06/2012 19:37

Oh dear, Amber, I wish you hadn't pointed that out ....

(but thanks ...)

AmberNectarine · 07/06/2012 19:38

Whatcha buyin' Carole? If I was in the market for a Mulberry, which I'm not as I already have six and DH would go mental I think the Evelina satchel is a great bargain...

AmberNectarine · 07/06/2012 19:39

Ooh interesting mim I was planning on getting a pair of those flats. Also want the coco pop wedges in pink and red suede (which I really hope will be in the sale!)

blossoming · 07/06/2012 20:02

Take them back mim, they are brilliant at replacing dodgy pairs. Not to worry amber, mine are absolutely fine. Good call on the red 811s too mim. Wish I could try them on myself! With new white v neck..

Love hearing of your house plans dauphin. So sorry you're going through a difficult time.
