Glad you both had a lovely time Ollie and Fritzi! Guessed Fritzi right and thought Ollie was probably a natural something.

Busy on the tubes this morning, lots of people off to town for jubilee fun.

blossoming · 03/06/2012 09:24

Just been looking at my style day notes. Possibly dramatic gamine rufus. My notes say that 'gamine' is determined, rebellious, youthful, clever, extrovert and impatient. Sound familiar? Dramatic is direct, challenging, logical, independent, decisive, extreme and detached.

AmberNectarine · 03/06/2012 09:28

Ooh I really want to know what I am now! When I had my colours done the consultant said she thought Dramatic, but what else!?

blossoming · 03/06/2012 09:40

Definitely 'dramatic' amber. Do the shoe thing for me!
Is ants okay? Was she supposed to be in Brighton?
And where's verity?

rufus101 · 03/06/2012 10:21

Uncanny Bloss. Think that's a fairly good description of me. Though wouldn't have thought of myself as a gamine.
Am intrigued to know what those posts said. Anyone care to pm me?!

MidnightinMoscow · 03/06/2012 10:23

Based on the shoe theory Bloss, what would you think I am? My favourite shoes are my Swedish hasbeens and I would do anything for a pair of Malono blahnik Sederaby's.

notyummy · 03/06/2012 10:47

On very busy train to London. Glad i booked seats! Some people in quite smart but ill judged outfits getting cold and wet at the station. This weather requires dressing for Feb/March rather than May/June. Lots of converse and sandal clad feet getting soaked. Dd and I are both in boots! With skinnies, Breton and Zara silver/grey knit. Kind of ruined by rather unstylish mac....

So glad you all have had such a lovely time in Brighton!

pickledsiblings · 03/06/2012 11:23

Thanks MiM for explaining my cheekiness for me Smile. Think perhaps the poster had been reading a little too much of 53 Shades of Grey. We are seriously contemplating reading it for our next book group meeting Grin.

I have positive job news ('at last' I hear you say). Had interview at the end of the week like Red, same job title as the one I went for a few weeks previous and at the same prestigious institution (interview was in the same room) only difference is the project. Found out just before DH left for his trip, both v.excited.

Red, when does your job start?

Bloss, Ants was there at Brighton according to Ollie's post last night.

Have a great Jubilee w/e everyone.

Emo76 · 03/06/2012 11:28

hello all. can confirm the Brighton line up as Everything, Ants, Reine, Ollie, Fritzi and me. great fun all round, sorry I had to come back this morning and couldn't indulge in brunch and shopping - the shops there are fabulous, huge selection!

pickles that's exciting re potential job - fingers crossed for you

have got tickets for the Jubilee festival in local park, of course DD1 has already said she doesn't want to go "and see the Queen and her stupid boats".. that's the spirit! Horrible drizzle here.

AntPants1 · 03/06/2012 11:33

Hello everyone. Had a great day/ night in Brighton. Went shopping and EMO Reine and I all flexed our credit cards. Fantastic evening. Cava, great food ( and so much of it!) and flamenco. Highlight of he evening was trying to work out which waiter was Karem! Turned out he was the chef. Towards the end of the evening he came out to beat some tunes and our table erupted!!! reine and I are having a slow day today. Weather isn't great so we are going to the cinema to see snow white and the huntsman. Xx

pickledsiblings · 03/06/2012 11:35

Emo, have got job - handsome Swede left lovely message on answerphone yesterday but we just picked it up this morning. Lol at your DD and 'the Queen and her stupid boats'.

SE, I can't believe you cycled home. Love your account of the evening, can just imagine you all with huge smiles on your faces looking gorgeous of course. Great outfit for Ollie Grin.

I am enjoying MNing from soft play with the boys whilst DD rows in the rain. Out for a nice lunch later, tummy rumbling already Blush.

Hi all! Hope you're not too wet wherever you are.
Congratulations pickled. Do you have any more details yet?
We have been desperate for indoor activities today, and just had such good fun doing a family shred for the first time! It felt so good in comparison with usual wet Sundays when we're usually bickering by this time. It really is 2 years now since I started with Jillian, and no, I'm not bored of her at all!
mim, what's your favourite outfit? With the hasbeens, I'd say 'natural' because of the 'natural' nature of the heel. Manolo's sound interesting!
Saw this outfit earlier and thought it was very ollie.
I cannot find anything I want to buy right now. And basically dreading a wet half term.

What do you think of this dress for me everything?

OP posts:
OllieinOrange · 03/06/2012 18:24

On train back home. Such a lovely weekend. Brighton is great for shopping. But, i have HoC news!!!! Fritzi and i got a phonecall from the consultant who had been fretting since yesterday that something was amiss with our clothing personalities. She met us for breakfast (eggs benedict in carluccios - lovely) and it turns out Fritzi is an ingenue natural which makes far more sense and was of great relief to Fritzi, and im a pure natural - which is very rare apparently. Im supposed to dress like Elle McPherson (yes i laughed too). Lots to take in and im a bit concerned about how i am to dress in an unstructured way but still show off my waist. Ive started by buying the WC silk notch neck dress in charcoal!

Back later train stopping

rufus101 · 03/06/2012 18:52

Gosh isn't that amazing Ollie? You know, from your pics, I can imagine an Elle vibe. The slim white jeans, the Ash jalouse etc
Bloss I love that top! In fact I have something very similar. Not surprising as I LOVE stripes and charcoal grey. It's a Velvet one.

everything, I must have linked the wrong dress! Mine was £300. Still, I don't really want a dress. I just want to go out on Friday looking 'cool'! Easier said than done.
Lovely isn't it rufus, although too unstructured for me.
ollie I'm glad she came back to you if she wasn't sure. Very professional of her I'd say.

Evening all, am far more drunk than I should be on a Sunday, following a boozy lunch with friends which fed into a trip to a local beer festival. Good thing the DC are being very well-behaved at the moment...

Hope everyone has enjoyed their days - feel I should have made the effort and gone and stayed at my Mum's for the weekend to make the mot of the festivities. My sister had a place on one of the barges through some connection at work. Am v Envy. How was it Portia?

V impressed that HOC lady called you to change her mind. Does velvet still apply Ollie - I have visions of you in an Alice band and velvet dress with pie crust collar a la Fergie c. 90s. What do you think?!

Can only see tonight ending in sleeping on the sofa by 9. Hope everyone else is enjoying themselves.
