How do we not haw a style analysis verdict yet from Ollie and Fritzi?! I keep checking in for one!

AmberNectarine · 02/06/2012 19:03

Anyone care to guess the style verdicts?

blossoming · 02/06/2012 19:16

I'll go ollie, natural classic; fritzi, classic gamine.

OP posts:
Hopefully · 02/06/2012 19:34

I'm going Ollie either classic natural or dramatic natural, Fritzi classic ingenue. Does classic ingenue even exist?

rufus101 · 02/06/2012 19:48

Come on Ollie and Fritzi don't keep us in suspense!
I can't get my head around what the classic/ingenue etc means. Think I'm like Bloss and there's a dramatic piece in there, but I wouldn't consider myself a classic dresser. I always feel funny in classic items.
I really love that AMcQ clutch. In fact I've decided I want it! So another saving fund will start. I wonder if it will go in the NAP sale. Anyone have any idea when it starts?
I have a spatchcocked chicken marinating AWT recipe And I'm making the pastry for your quiche Bloss!
Amber terrible when that happens. I'm so relieved mine were not biters and were just bitten, but it's upsetting when it happens. Remember DS1 had a terrible on his arm. Broken skin, bruising etc As NY says, human bites are really dirty (worse than animal I think) and might be good to check with GP re tetanus.
Are you busy packing Decam? Countdown starts!

Portia4 · 02/06/2012 21:03

Evening everyone, I hope that you've all had nice Saturdays. I was working, and now am home dithering over what to wear tomorrow, the weather forecast is appalling, but DH keeps reminding me that I won't really be outside! I have the dress, cardi, heels, change of shoe, AH clutch, brolly, mac, sterling, passport....; I have a 4.30am start so I need to be organisedSmile

Amber how awful, I hope that your DS is ok.

Stylistas - do let us know how you are getting on - please...

blossoming · 02/06/2012 21:30

Have fun tomorrow portia. Missing the jubilee love here. Welsh dragons still more in evidence than union jacks.
rufus, what is your favourite shoe? (Pretending I can work it out from there)

Popping in to say hi.

Glad you got the bag amber

Looking forward to hearing all about the style days and Brighton MU.

I have Chanel June on my fingers and toes apuski - I love it - goes with everything.

Have fun tomorrow portia

Not surprised you were mad amber - I would have been too.

Congrats red

Off to Valencia in a couple of days - bloss and everything what were people wearing in Barcelona earlier in the year? Have packed capsule wardrobe of warm white, khaki, navy and pink with leopard print accessories, so everything goes with everything else.

AmberNectarine · 02/06/2012 22:39

How's Gracie, fleecy? Not building her into your holiday wardrobe?

blue2711 · 02/06/2012 22:54

Still no style verdicts from ollie and fritzi! Longing to hear all about it; hope you've had a wonderful day, ladies.

Just back from night out with valorie clutch (and DH of course). Loved outfit: primark floral skinnies, new black vertiginous Zara sandals, black silk vest, new white Zara blazer and gold clutch of course. Felt great and DH approved heartily. Gorgeous meal out, quite a lot of prosecco and drinks with some good friends before home. I feel like a new woman!

Big family lunch tomorrow followed by watching the flotilla on tv. Looking forward to hearing about jubilee fun.

Fleecy · 02/06/2012 22:54

Hell yeah she's coming! You know what it's like when you have a new love - you can't bear to be apart...

Fleecy · 02/06/2012 22:55

It's quite a week for fabulous bags then blue - sounds good.

pickledsiblings · 02/06/2012 23:52

Keep checking in for news of the fashionists...where are you guys??

Portia, have a great day out in London tomorrow and look out for NY. We were planning on being there too until DH's last minute trip got sprung on us - will watch it on TV now instead.

Blue, your outfit sounds divine, glad to hear that you are feeling like yourself again Smile.

rufus101 · 03/06/2012 00:03

Hmm! Favorite shoe Bloss.
Where do I start? Acne pistols. Belstaff Trailmasters in black. Platform wedges. Pedro Garcia. Miu Miu brown clog like heels. Although I love all my Jimmy Choos.. I like them high. No flats for me. I never (practically never) wear flats. Not pretty. I don't do lady like. So a high heel with platform or wedge. Not dainty. If I like a pair of boots, I seem to be able to throw all caution to the winds and persuade myself that they are worth it. No matter what the cost.
Has major crisis with leaking fridge earlier. Seem to have averted thanks to google and you tube. Isn't you tube amazing?
Have a great day tomorrow Portia.
Love your outfit Blue. Sounds perfect.

Charming!

So here's my guess:

Ingeneu Gamine = Fritzi
Natural Romantic = Ollie

OllieinOrange · 03/06/2012 00:34

We are here!!! What a day! Just had the most amazng evening with fritzi, ants, reine, emo and everything! Wonderful tapas restaurant with live flamenco - picture a young slim of hip male dancer with long hair and, get this, red suede heeled shoes! Great singers too. Really Spanish atmosphere. Im all for making it an annual event!

Style day was very enlightening. I am Julia Roberts and Fritzi is Margaret Thatcher - or Grace Kelly! Basicallly i am an Ingenue Natural and Fritzi is Classic Ingenue. I was a bit surprised i wasnt a classic and am hmm about being told i would suit velvet waistcoats or cord bootcuts and even a floral aliceband but the rest of it really did make sense. I need to emphasis my waist more and play with textures. Am going to find it hard to find coats that suit my style tho, very limited choice.
Cant wait to edit wardrobe now - and go shopping!
Back tomorrow x

pickledsiblings · 03/06/2012 00:41

What a fab evening Ollie, wish I was there! There's always next year Smile. My guess wasn't too bad, I got half of you both right. Limiting your choice of coats can only be a good thing.

Goodnight lovely ladies.

Bloss, have you namechanged?

Portia4 · 03/06/2012 05:59

On the way to the airport, had a last minute shoe and coat change, the weather is really dreadful, it's bucketing!Sad m even wearing gloves! Mind you they are Pucci!

I 'hope that everyone enjoys the day, big Hello to the Brigjton Belles!

AmberNectarine · 03/06/2012 07:09

Lovely the idea of a velvet waistcoat, cord bootcuts and floral Alice band ensemble! Still, I imagine every category has dodgy styles involved. Glad you had fun ladies! I can't wait until this baby is a bit less dependant on me and I can swan off and get mine done!

A comparably respectable 6.35am start today. Still knackered though, and for some unfathomable reason I have booked a 7am driving lesson tomorrow! Still, roads should be quiet!

Hope you've all got lovely Sundays planned, and anyone going out and about doesn't get too wet!

Happy holidays portia!

Glad you had a lovely time blue, great outfit, and well done your DH for being so thoughtful!

pickled you do make me laugh!

MidnightinMoscow · 03/06/2012 07:27

Glad you had such a good time in Brighton - would have love to have been there. Hmmm, floral headband and velvet waistcoat. Not together at least?!

Hope both Portia and NY have fab days in London, despite the weather.

Glad you had such a good evening blue and are feeling more yourself again, your outfit sounds wonderful.

Very funny pickled. Grin

Your driving lessons remind me of last year Amber, although you sound very confident. I, on the other hand, was a nervous wreck! Still, if I can pass then anyone can.

blossoming · 03/06/2012 07:28

What do you mean pickled? What were the messages about?
Yeah, I got fritzi right! That's a new one for me ollie. What a great time it sounds like!
rufus I'll put my thinking cap on! But dramatic something!
