Pedicure etiquette

I'm having my first pedicure tomorrow. I know that I have to wear flip flops and obviously my feet will be clean and not smelly or anything but is there anything else I should do to 'prep' them? Thanks. :)

I always give myself a mini pedi before I go for a professional one.

God no. They take off varnish. Weirdos

Ok take off nail varnish, check hairy toes but I think they are ok as I shaved them in the bath yesterday

Make sure you don't have loads of hard skin on the soles of your feet.

Hmm I do have some hard skin but they aren't awful.

Well, yes they will take varnish off, but they prefer if it's already done.

You wouldn't get me walking through town in flip flops with naked toe nails, though.

My colleague's feet looked like she'd been dead for a month. It would be a bit much for a pedicurist.

Ha ha porky well mines not that bad! In fact you can't even really see it, just feel it a bit.

I have weekly manis and a pedi every two weeks. The rather nice lady removes what she put on the week before, cleans everything thoroughly, has a quick file of any hard skin, gives me a foot scrub and then paints me all sparkly again.

Really take off polish first?

Meh, I think as long as they are clean you're golden.

No there isn't anything else at all, that sounds fine. You don't really need to bother with flip flops either.

Pedicurist here - yes, they will remove the varnish for you but if there's none to remove you get a longer foot massage worth removing first methinks

What an odd thing to think! Actually I think feet are usually the part of a person's body that are most neglected, if anywhere is. How could anyone's vagina be in a 'state' anyhow?
