Noticed I was on full beam this morning Sad. Is there anything I can wear/put on to umm dim the glare a little, as it were?

Any advice appreciated :)

Padded bra.

Mombojombo · 22/05/2012 09:35

Washable breastpads (like for b'feeding). Boots ones are cheap ish and don't give me the fried-egg-in-bra effect...

orangeandlemons · 22/05/2012 09:37

You can buy something called nippits taht stick over them.

Failing that....plaster Hmm tissues down bra is good Hmm

lucysnowe · 22/05/2012 09:38

hmm can't really do padded as they are big enough already, breastpads.... hmm, thanks! ooh nippits sounds painful!

T-shirt bras. Not padded the way padded bras are but padded enough iyswim

ProcrastinationEatsTime · 22/05/2012 10:14

Was going to suggest lilypadz, the edge is invisible when they're on. Quite similar to what you linked to.

ShatnersBassoon · 22/05/2012 10:16

T-shirt bras will smooth everything out without adding any bulk.

KisMittzAteALLThePies · 22/05/2012 10:39

I second T shirt bras, I have a pierced nipple and they hide the outline of the ring pretty well.

Yup - moulded bra's are the way to go. Fantasie do some great ones - I have an assortment.

PrematurelyAirconditioned · 22/05/2012 11:22

T shirt bras are designed specifically for this purpose.

lucysnowe · 22/05/2012 11:37

ooh thanks! will check out tshirt bras...

You can actually buy nipple bras. With moulded nipples Hmm

Why would anyone buy these is beyond me.

Totally irrelevant I know

PorkyandBess · 22/05/2012 17:15

Jennifer Aniston used to have the nipples cut out of her bras on Friends.

I have this problem, which my dh views as a non-problem.

I hate those moulded bras though. Make my boobs look like they belong on a mannequin.

orangeandlemons · 22/05/2012 17:47

Tell him to try teaching secondary.....

Then it becomes a huge problem believe me Wink

PorkyandBess · 22/05/2012 19:22

Hmm orangeandlemons - I can imagine.

I work in a team of men. They all clock my sticky out nips and think they're being surreptitious!

lucysnowe · 22/05/2012 19:26

no way about Aniston she could get away with it tho.

Well, at the right time, there is something to be said for being pert of nipple Smile

RoxyRobin · 22/05/2012 19:31

Organ stops is the simile I'm familiar with.

DH just points out (in the middle of social occasions when I can't do anything about them): Your nipples are pinging.

RoxyRobin · 22/05/2012 19:35

I read aeons ago that Marlene Dietrich used to have pearls sewn into the end of the cupped area of her slinky frocks to simulate pingy nipples for the idly groping hand.

orangeandlemons · 22/05/2012 19:45

Why didn't the edges of the cut outs show around Jennifer A's bras? Surely it would have created more lumpiness? Am really fascinated by this.

Like a.....well.... organ stop.... in the middle of a concentric circle?

Do I need to get a life?

lucysnowe · 22/05/2012 21:21

Really want to google pics of Dietrich now!
