Brown leather Shoulder Bag

I'm having a nightmare trying to replace my lovely leather (fake) day to day bag.

I'm a one-bag does all (except evening bag) kind a girl and I'm finding it really hard to find what I want.

I'd like preferably 2 handles - not short to carry - long enough to put over one shoulder and which hangs down to about my waist - so not little shoulder bag.

It's got to have good storage room but not over-sized.

I'd prefer leather - mid brown.

Anyone got any suggestions?

I was thinking hobo/slouch type thing? perhaps one handle/strap would be better?

I got this in TK MAxx for £50 is a lovely dark tan, they also had this one for about £35. The only thing I'm not keen on in mine is it has no outside pockets which I like but I loved it so much apart from that so got it.

Bunion - I really like that actually. No it doesn't need to be slouchy but I defo don't want a boxy/rigid leather bag.

I'm now wondering whether I shouldn't get leather at all and instead, opt for a material bag but I do like leather as I trug loads of crap around and it lasts well.

I wear quite a bit of bright pink - do you think a light tan like the Lloyd Baker one would look okay with any outfit colour?

I tend to use the same bag every day - can't be doing with different bags for different occasions - other than evening do's.

I actually really like this but handles too short to have over my shoulder and can't stand across across body ones as they annoy me and make me fidget.

Although the handles aren't quite long enough the strap doubles up so it's quite short over the shoulder iyswim.

I just bought a gorgeous tan brown leather shoulder bag (two smaller straps and one longer shoulder strap) from M&S for £70.

A friend of mine thought it looked like an über pricey Mulberry one or some such celeb-y extravagance

loopy tan looks great with anything I think white, brown, navy, green whatever -- tan is just such a good all round go with everything colour for a bag - so if you only want to use one bag - tan would be great! - and leather lasts for years in a classic style - - IMO !

Can't vouch for them though as I've never used them. They have a deal going with wowcher ATM to get a small leather bag for £20, but probably a bit small.

Blimey - it's really hard buying a new handbag!!!

DH just found me a gorgeous one - then showed me it's a £500 mulberry one!

I don't like that one either -- it looks as though the leather (?) is hard and stiff and the whip stitching looks a bit naff - If you are into Mulberry money it's much easier ! - but I could not bring myself to pay that for a bag -

I wasn't into any designer at all bunion - it's just that DH found the mulberry bags and I really liked the simple style of them.

We typed in mulberry outlet and have found this which I love but how do I know if the sites selling mulberry bags cheaply are real-deal sites and not fraudulent?

Modalu is a good make loopy - not that I have bought a bag from them - but have seen them and they are good leather and well made - I love that bag too.!
Mulberry does NOT sell through sites and that one is definitely selling look-a-likes - - probably from the far east - they even fake the identity numbers and receipts - so beware.!

I thought it was weird that they were selling alexas etc, you would have thought an outlet would be selling old/unpopular styles!
