Brown leather Shoulder Bag

I'm having a nightmare trying to replace my lovely leather (fake) day to day bag.

I'm a one-bag does all (except evening bag) kind a girl and I'm finding it really hard to find what I want.

I'd like preferably 2 handles - not short to carry - long enough to put over one shoulder and which hangs down to about my waist - so not little shoulder bag.

It's got to have good storage room but not over-sized.

I'd prefer leather - mid brown.

Anyone got any suggestions?

I was thinking hobo/slouch type thing? perhaps one handle/strap would be better?

I had thought this kind of thing but not so plastic-like/no rings etc)

Yeah - have just bought the Modalu one from John Lewis so know it's real . The most I've ever spent on a bag but heyho - at least it's proper leather and the handles won't peel like my current [lovely] one.

Modalu are OK but, for me, always have just too much 'gold' metalware on them which makes them look a bit cheaper than they are, IMO. But obviously lots of people like that colour metalware as most Mulberries have it too.

I personally prefer Peony and Moore to Modalu as they are more understated.

Sorry, didn't realise you'd decided on Modalu when I posted - wasn't criticising your choice - the metalwork prefernce is a very personal one of mine. I do have one Modalu bag and it has worn really well.

Hi bunions yes I did see those. Tempting but their Mariella in snake is still top of my wish list! Not sure it would be as versatile as tan or light brown though.

Well my lovely bag has arrived and I highly recommend it! It's got hods of space inside without being an oversized bag and the material is light so easier to find stuff.

Lovely mid tan without looking orange.
