Sorry about thread title. Hope everyone is back from holidays soon and will find us here.

amber Which JBrands did you get?

bonsoir I tried on those two tops in Cos before Easter and was tempted too. Bought a simple navy dress in Cos and shoes, which are not on the website Hmm. Will return this top. Cos is great at the moment I think.

Should add that I offered guests strawberry frozen youghurt instead Smile

OllieinOrange · 22/04/2012 18:40

I mean yoghurt

notyummy · 22/04/2012 18:54

Just finished sizzling for the first time Rufus! Had to do a patch test and wait 48 ours first. Have been conservative and opted for a 2 1/2 minute sizzle to begin with. Skin feels v nice but no obvious difference - but to be fair, you are supposed to do 6 and increase the time each one. I suspect it will take 2/3 at least to start seing results.

Glad you are relaxing and enjoying the Voice Ollie. The swimming sounds mad but fun! I thought of it this morning as DD got her 25m badge with very little ceremony!

Emo - hope work evens out soon. Sounds draining.

Meant to say Ants - well done on the FC shop!

OllieinOrange · 22/04/2012 20:20

DH is impeding my enjoyment of The Voice. Keeps muttering that he wouldnt pick any of them.

Emo76 · 22/04/2012 20:35

Anyone else watching Man V Food in a household where they are outvoted re The Voice?! Actually I do enjoy it.

loobylu3 · 22/04/2012 21:04

Hello everyone.

Great idea re country house meet up, ollie/ pickled- v appealing! Those murder mystery parties can be fun too. We had a couple of drunken ones as students (plus lots of other v drunken themed parties).

V sorry to hear about your day dauphin. He sounds v brave indeed.
Breton- you sound incredibly together considering your tough home circumstances at the moment.

Happy Birthday to DD1, decameron. Was it Friday? We had a birthday/ anniversary weekend; my father's birthday/ our 10 year wedding anniversary on Friday, mine and DS's birthday yesterday and DS's party today. The only wild celebration involved lots of 7 year olds! DC always take priority, eh?

NY- is that the alpha hydroxy acid from the other thread? Thanks for the kind compliment re my figure (several pages back now). I am v lucky as I have no trouble with excess weight gain and can eat lots but I do need to become more toned/fit and am rather lazy (possibly because if has always been bit easy for me). Must shred post baby- am concerned re state of tummy post no.4! By the way, I do share your sentiments/ issues re your local primary school.

Hope mrsCB and the others who had some time to themselves this weekend had a lovely time. I love the look of that featherweight jumper in the Pure collection catalogue but the colours don't look to good for me sadly. I'm about to try a couple of other things though.

MIM- can only echo what everyone else has said re feeding. Pumping must be incredibly difficult and you have made a tough decision based on your circumstances. Your DD will thrive and you must be a lot more comfortable too. :)

Morning - another rainy day here - this summer better jolly well start soon!

Had brilliant time in London - lots of trying on and a few purchases. New bra - Cobalt blue Simone Perele - really rate this brand. Lovely nude clutch from Cos and a stripey top from there.

Went to order the pure featherweight jumper last night and its blooming sold out in the silver grey - will phone them later to see if they have any sneaky ones laying around. Also the metallic tank I mentioned has sold out.

Got back very late on Saturday so incredibly tired yesterday.

The ash wedge trainers were gorgeous but just not for me.

FLE - that sounds a delightful lunch Hmm Perhaps your parents could buy you a gorgeous house with a delightful studio in which to meet the 'loons' Wink

Hopefully · 23/04/2012 08:14

Morning!

Have just weight myself and am a bit Hmm that I weigh exactly what I weighed almost 2 months ago. Am definitely slimmer, but I like seeing it on the scales, dammit!

OllieinOrange · 23/04/2012 08:32

Well, opened to the door to our new painter today to be met by Colin Farrell - or someone that looks very like him!

My goodness - its like having a Diet Coke advert in my own house Wink. May have to invite the school Mums over for coffee.....

notyummy · 23/04/2012 08:42

Morning all!

FLE - lunch sounds draining. So disappointing that they can't be a positive force for you. I know you will be a very different parent, but sad you have had to lerarn the hard way.

Hopefully - it is hard not to get hung up on weight; I know I am guilty of it sometimes. It is true though that toned muscle looks so much better than the alternative (and takes up less room, hence the slimmer feel.) Measurements and clothes are a better barometer. I am trying to be strict and only weigh myself once a week so I don't get too caught up in it all.

MrsCB - weather really poor here too. Managed most of the day on Friday with sunshine, but thunderstorms, grey clouds and hail ever since. I know we do desperately need rain - just wish it would happen at night more?. Shopping sounds great - will have to look up that new label.

Annie - sounds like a nice weekend and some great shopping!

Fairly restful weekend here, which was good. I sky plussed Free Willy, which I thought DD would love - and she does. Only watched about half an hour thus far, but she is transfixed! Started to watch the new Scandi thing 'The Bridge', which seemed promising - and have recorded 'Smash' as well, which I have heard good things about.

Not much S and B there I am afraid. Face still in one piece after GA peel - will ncrease the time next week in the hope of looking 10 years younger. Just awaiting Outnet delivery.

Lastly - DD's Rainbows have announced this morning they are doing a St Georges Day theme tomorrow evening. Help!! Any ideas for something that can be knocked together with virtually no time and/or materials?!

MarshaBrady · 23/04/2012 08:49

Last day of Easter school holidays. Quite long.

Hopefully I hope to see results quite soon not sure if it's good or not that I don't have scales.

Lucky thing re outnet delivery NY. I must say I'm itching to get something. Some lovely weather would make it easier to get SS stuff.

NotSoGrumpy · 23/04/2012 09:51

ollie what a nice surprise on a Monday morning!

Hopefully I can understand your frustration, I bought some new digital scales at the weekend and according to the new scales I've gained 3lb in the last week! According to the old scales I've lost 2lb which made me feel slightly better. Still it motivated me to go out for a run this morning and I shall be doing L3 Ripped later.

FLE how draining, so difficult when parents can't be supportive and just criticise. I have a very distant relationship with my father because he is so negative. I've decided I need to get my colours done so I'm obviously a loon! Only thing is that the local HoC consultant looks a bit scary...

MrsCB that sounds like a lovely day on Saturday, shame about the trainers.

Annie I'm not working at the moment but i've found that the start of the week runs more smoothly if we have a lazy family Sunday. Lovely new purse, I need a new one, mine's looking very tired and is much too big.

MarshaBrady · 23/04/2012 10:04

Annie great shopping, will really suit you.

FLE hmm I think our parents sound quite similar. I often get the talk about how eligible dh is. Hope you are ok.

Ollie are you f&bing?

OllieinOrange · 23/04/2012 11:05

Good summary of kid friendly hotels and resorts here

Yes Marsha, kitchen being painted with F&B Lulworth Blue, DS1s room in Pavillion Blue.

Ive just made coffee for 'Colin' and served him some biscuits without thinking - they were heart shaped ones Smile

MarshaBrady · 23/04/2012 11:12

lol Ollie!

Good one Grin

MarshaBrady · 23/04/2012 11:16

Speaking of children's thing, what was the app that a couple of you were talking about at MU? The children's book one. Keep going to download it and forgetting the name.
