Sorry about thread title. Hope everyone is back from holidays soon and will find us here.

amber Which JBrands did you get?

bonsoir I tried on those two tops in Cos before Easter and was tempted too. Bought a simple navy dress in Cos and shoes, which are not on the website Hmm. Will return this top. Cos is great at the moment I think.

I love tiny babies, find them more of a challenge when they are mobile but have no sense! You know when they can clamber onto the sofa but then fall right off it? I find that stage exhausting. Love, love toddlers though, they are so enthusiastic Grin

Girl who runs in dresses for Marsha

I am also intrigued by Pickled's suit quest!

Suburban I have been meaning to say I love your blog, and you are sooo pretty!

VerityBrulee · 16/04/2012 12:35

X posts Looby glad you had a good break, the food sounds yummy!

MrsCampbellBlack · 16/04/2012 12:51

New Pure Collection catalogue arrived and some pretty nice stuff in there - very Ollie I think Smile

I'm planning to go to Westfield later this week and am happy to look in the big Boots there for the foot buffer for whoever wants one.

Amber I also have a grumpy baby who wants to be able to crawl but can only push herself backwards. She's also teething, I haven't had a lot of sleep the last few nights and am feeling really rotten.

AmberNectarine · 16/04/2012 13:27

Lots of sympathy NSG! The sooner they get moving the better (sort of!)

Well unsurprisingly things less serene and joyous toay but as Monday mornings go it's not been too bad. Cold here but bright. Wearing white skinnies with long sleeved white top and loose elbow length cream TS sweater (have linked before but really must recommend again, it's great and goes perfectly with pastel skinnies here

When I go out later to a friend's for tea I'll wear my new Marc Jacobs jacket / hoody which a lovely friend has just given me as she never wears it. So pleased as I've coveted it for years. It's a pale mauvey blue jersey fabric with a fur trimmed hood and lined body so super cosy. Sounds dodgy but is great, honestly!

In other clothes for nothing news, I returned two hazel whistles tops that I just hadn't worn as not great on me (naughty but I'm very good at exchanging things that have just sat in the wardrobe for ages!). Got the leopard belt and this t shirt for just £5 with Elle voucher. Love belt but bit unsure about t shirt so that might go back too! Something not quite right about the arms on whistles t shirts this year.

pickledsiblings · 16/04/2012 13:50

Looby, lovely to hear that you had a relaxing time in S'pore Smile.

I need a new suit in case I have any interviews to go to, that's all Wink. Finished a preinterview task for one today and it failed to send as I screwed up the email address. Of course I didn't notice this until 3 hrs after the deadline Blush - not much hope there then. Still looking for p/t stuff.

Red, glad the CRB came through and you are good to go.

Decam, your possum fur cardi made me smile, how very decadent NZ.

FritziGreenEyes · 16/04/2012 13:50

notyummy and looby Hope the respective jet lag symptoms disappear soon. In the meantime have a Brew and some rest if you can.

notsogrumpy If you see the Foot buffers buy 10. There will be lots of MNters who will take them off your hands Grin

Sympathies to those with grumpy/teething/non-sleeping babies or toddlers. Oh, and to those with DSs who refuse to go to school verity Confused. Do you think he will be ok to go tomorrow?

amber was all set to buy the divine raoul bag but have realised the handle is too short to wear as cross body. Such a shame. Think may get your fantastic cheapo alternative instead though WIT's Anya Gracie tempted me this morning. May be a bit much for toddler groups though, although like mrscb I am never knowingly underdressed or accessorised! We're going to Soller in Majorca by the way, it's wonderful, especially in September.
bloss loved hearing about your spree! Great purchases. I too love the styling of matches and Cameron's new boobs. If only I could just click my fingers and have a boob job I'd do it but I just don't think I dare...
hopefully jealous of your Stella and dot purchases and very tempted by that DP biker. Does the quality look / feel OK?
icey lovely to hear you sound so happy and smitten
mim hope infection clearing and all going well
red want to copy your navy shorts / pink top / gold sandal combo. Gorgeous!
looby and ny hope jet lag lifts soon.

As you can see I've had a lovely long read while both yes both children sleeping. Also enjoyed 3rd child debate, rude grandmas and the ongoing me and em love (feel left out of this but rubbish sizing - what do you go for if you're a 6?).

Hello to everyone else - I've run out time!

blue2711 · 16/04/2012 14:07

Ok, DS still sleeping, DD in arms. A few more things. Please let me know if you see some decent and decently priced skinnies. Am stuck now that TS seems to have none!

And fritzi I'm hunting for the fabled S and G foot file too!

And finally, on the inappropriate comments topic, must share with you that I saw a friend's mother recently who said in the space of 5 mins: 'ooh your hair looks much better than last time' and 'DS is very good looking - not like his father'.... Talk about back handed compliments!

Hopefully · 16/04/2012 14:24

Looby I would probably go for the navy - although it's not a HoC autumn colour I think it looks good on most autumns. Khaki and pinky-brown not here yet, but suspect they will be quite soft, rather than rich.

Decameron · 16/04/2012 14:25

Welcome back Looby, glad you had a good time.

DD1 won't wear what I want her to any more. She insists that navy is for boys which is a shame as it suits her and breaks up all the pink!

My boots are out for delivery so I am looking out the window like a stalker.

Possum/merino blend feels like cashmere. Will check out those designers, thanks, Annie. Will your DD2 snuggle in with your DH?

Meant to go to the Sainsburys website but opened Selfridges by mistake. Much more interesting.

I quite like each stage with the DDs but will be glad to see the back of disturbed sleep (I'm not good with that and it makes me quite grumpy). Two is enough for me!

I've just been reading the blog Does my bum look 40, very funny.

OllieinOrange · 16/04/2012 14:27

Just back from school - without DSs. Both had unplanned playdates at friends' houses so I will now enjoy a bonus couple of hours off with a cup a tea and a perusal of the new Pure things - thanks for the top off MrsCB

Love WITS approach to packing. Do we still think she may be pregnant?

AmberNectarine · 16/04/2012 14:41

Almost certainly ollie, only flats, loose fit maxis, a one piece and in the photo of her and her sisters in their swimwear in the previous post she has her back to the camera. I'll be interested to see her take on pregnancy. Suspect it won't involve buying one of everything from IO like I did...

AmberNectarine · 16/04/2012 14:45

That is my greatest reservation about it blue, I want to see it IRL really, might ask Matches in Wimbledon to call it in. The cheaper one is actually lovely too, so it may well be that one...

Decameron · 16/04/2012 14:46

I do like each stage with the DDs, not "I quite like", that sounds awful.Blush

Enjoy the unexpected free time Ollie!

OllieinOrange · 16/04/2012 14:57

Amber have you found a maxi yet. LA has this one with sleeves - think you were looking for sleeveless tho??? here

blue2711 · 16/04/2012 15:01

Just re-read and see that I've missed out the key word floral in my plaintive request for skinnies; skinnies alone I can manage!!

Liked the WIT approach to packing and will aim to apply it to Majorca packing next month. I think she's pregnant too.

I love dressing DS and give him no say at all, poor boy. He does get lots of compliments though. I love him in navy and pink - yesterday he wore a pink and white striped shirt over a white long sleeved tee and navy jeans. And navy Barbour lookalike from Zara. I think I'm better at dressing him than I am myself! Haven't mastered DD at all yet though, just babygros and little cardis so far and far too much pink. Love the shorts and tights look on toddler girls.

AmberNectarine · 16/04/2012 15:03

I got the Great Plains one you linked to ollie which is a great T shirt type one, but I am still on the lookout for a sleeveless one.

OllieinOrange · 16/04/2012 15:04

OMG - thats one spelling mistake too far. I mean tip off and not top off MrsCB Blush

alwaysrunninginheels · 16/04/2012 15:05

Hello again. Decameron- any sign of those boots arriving? I am keeping everything crossed that the 39 buyer has mutant feet and has to return them. Then they are mine. Tried them on in HN this weekend and loved them- but they were full price so i am holding out for a bargain! Love reading about the debate re no3 children as my 3rd is nearly heading to school and it terrifies me- I am missing the baby and toddler stage dreadfully. Although the lack of sticky fingers and the occasional dry clean only outfit are quite nice....Blue- anya's Gracie is gorgeous- I nabbed one in the Xmas sale- gold lame!!!!! Doesn't fit in at playgroup though! Loving browsing this thread- wow the links are good!

AmberNectarine · 16/04/2012 15:10

blue I am good at dressing DS (though worrying amount of 'Cars' t-shirts creeping in) but totally haven't managed DD yet. Most days she is in a hand-me-down babygro! Saw nice floral skinnies in Zara, thought they were v C/E.

AmberNectarine · 16/04/2012 15:12

Oh yeah, WIT needs to make most of this 3 of everything rule. I need at least 9 tops for a week away to cope with potential spills/snot/vomit onslaught...
