Here. Has Johnnie B lost his marbles? Would anyone pay that for a Boden cardigan?

They have made ONE in each size. With 30% off it's only 245 -- someone will buy it.

Boden seems to constantly be testing price points -- so I m sure it is part experiment part motivated by greed.

Nobody is going to buy that at that price!

When you click through to Boden's mobile site, the pictures of their egregiously priced clothes are obscured by a huge sign saying "A FIFTEEN PERCENT DISCOUNT HAS BEEN APPLIED TO YOUR BASKET!!!!!!"

Now i love a bit of Boden knitwear and alot of their other stuff, i probably buy most of my clothes there infact...but that is crazy and ugly!

Trouble is some people are Boden mad and will pay the crazy prices for pieces like this and their limited collection stuff.

So are the round bits metal? Or are they knitted as part of the (ahem) design?

Boden need to go back to the drawing board. So many things seem to expensive for what they are. I've got a few things of late (swimsuits for DTs and the Mariner jumper for me) and maybe it's just me, but the clothes are same old, same old and some horrible prints.

See, each individual flower is quite nice. It's the whole lot together that's a problem.

A few scattered around would be OK.

Bet they all fall off the first time you wear it.

I think some retailers are discovering that if they describe things as special, they can keep pushing the prices and people will still pay. J Crew is doing the same in the US.

How would you hand wash it? It would be so wet that it would take days to dry surely?
