*sounds klaxon* 30% GA peel shizzle that you can do at home

thought i ought to do a public service and announce it properly as hardly anyone seems to know you can buy this stuff to use at home - and it works out sooo much cheaper than having it done at a salon even tho it's the exact same stuff.

i've only used it once so far (for 3 mins) but have been properly amazed by the results - as i posted on another thread, my 11s have reduced by 50% [holy grail] and my skin generally looks brighter and more even.

you do it weekly, building up the time over 6 weeks and then have a break.

the magic goo is here: www.bravuralondon.com/glycolic-acid-30.html

don't forget to get the neutraliser (apparently just bicarb but maybe has crushed fairies' castles in it too Hmm so your choice) and use sun block in the day.

anyone a veteran of the stuff and care to share your results?

p.s. i don't work for bravura and i'm a MN regular recently name-changed to separate my S&B chat with my over-sharing on other threads.

MissBeehivingUnderTheMistletoe · 06/04/2012 13:37

I'm sizzling tonight for the second time. I have noticed a difference this week - my skin is less patchy and I did think about going without foundation this morning Shock.

cybbo · 06/04/2012 16:43

Weesa have discovered Carins Extra firming night cream and I love it

Feel all taut and sculptured rather than lined and loose

GetOrfMoiiLand · 06/04/2012 16:58

I have just ordered this lot (the GA).

Looking forward to burning my whole face off.

cybbo · 06/04/2012 17:01

Wont burn Getorf. Smarts and bit and is a bit youchy

ggirltwin2pinot · 06/04/2012 17:06

am going to do it again tonight
had to check on this thread to see when I did it as my memory is shit
so 2nd of april ..it's not too soon is it?

jen127 · 06/04/2012 19:32

I went to boots today to buy their BB cream and some hot cloth cleanser and the young slip of a girl serving me told me I had the most fabulous skin Grin
(You don't think that was because she was selling me stuff ? )

cocolepew · 06/04/2012 19:34

Bloody hell, I'm glad I checked. I was going to do it every night Blush

MissBeehivingUnderTheMistletoe · 06/04/2012 20:56

Just Cilit Banged for week no.2 - 3 ish mins this time. Face is a bit red, so I'll wait and see what the outcome is in the morning

blobtobetter · 06/04/2012 21:16

Have done 1 min of SA this evening. Skin feels soft which is nice. Wondering if it would upset my skin if I used my clarisonic in the morning ......

Want to do another treatment already!

ggirltwin2pinot · 06/04/2012 21:30

right how long do i have to give after washing my face before sizzling

cba to go upstairs twice tbh

Whitershadeofpale · 06/04/2012 21:43

blob ive used my claisonic as normal and I still have a face left Grin.

MissBeehivingUnderTheMistletoe · 06/04/2012 21:44

ggirl - they say half an hour.

SeaHouses · 06/04/2012 21:45

SOTW, I am astonished by how good your skin looks. I am the same age as you and my pores are so big I look like I have lain face down on a bed of small nails.

Is your skin all down to this acid thing or are there other elements? I feel that I need to know every product you use.

ggirltwin2pinot · 06/04/2012 21:46

thanks missbeehiving..wonder why?

cocolepew · 06/04/2012 22:17

Did 2 minutes, bit of burning around nose but that's it. Skin looked very clean after but not much else.

Apart from bringing a spot I didn't know I had to a head Hmm

ggirltwin2pinot · 06/04/2012 22:35

probably the neutraliser but does anyone else think their face looks much whiter after the sizzle

SeasonOfTheWitch · 06/04/2012 22:46

yy, mine's def whiter - i assumed it was because it get rids of any pigmentation. or do you mean something else?

seahorses thank you Smile but i don't use anything special. i guess i'm quite lucky with my skin anyway but the GA has obv helped. other than that i just do ocm to wash.

i know it sound dubiously woo but i also think getting colours right (ie seasonal colour analysis) makes skin look miles better. mine deffo has much more of a glow and clarity about it when i'm in my best colours.

ggirltwin2pinot · 06/04/2012 22:59

i mean the white powder maybe leaves a residue

SeasonOfTheWitch · 06/04/2012 23:02

what, after you wash it off? Confused i haven;t seen that

OP posts:
ggirltwin2pinot · 06/04/2012 23:05

well no I haven't actualy seen a residue but wondered if there is an invisible one

SeasonOfTheWitch · 06/04/2012 23:11

so you;re saying you've seen an invisible white residue after the neutraliser?

OP posts:
ggirltwin2pinot · 06/04/2012 23:31

no ..well yes
