can anyone recommend a really good silver nail polish? Something a bit like Chanel Peridot, but silvery?

Haven't caught up, forgive me all, but wanted to say I'm keeping this violet lake top

MrsCampbellBlack · 29/03/2012 14:42

Amber stripey maxi looks nice and DP jersey is pretty good quality.

May order for round the village type wear Smile

OllieinOrange · 29/03/2012 14:46

Have just discovered how easy it is to send photos via Whats App - could make shopping a lot easier if I send those of you whose number I have pics from the changing room! Smile

Nail Varnish here or

this one

I think it`s a no to the lovely T shirt little back,big cleavage... :(

Brighter note found earharts in Marshall for £132. Cheaper elsewhere but not my size.

Russianred · 29/03/2012 14:56

MrsCB your outfit sounds excellent, am going to copy emulate. Yes to stripy DP dress - was looking at that only yesterday.

Excellent idea Ollie - WhatsApp me for sure - I send vids/pics of the kids all day to my MUm and DH with it, is so easy and overcomes international cost issue!

Slaymill · 29/03/2012 15:28

I have a DP maxi dress Amber good material for the price .. though I never wore so its on my growing ebay pile.

Thank You Marsha re your compliment Thanks

Emo76 · 29/03/2012 15:43

OH NO Reiss has gone Per Una Speziale!

hi all quick wave around busy week here anyone else feel like they are a bit rubbish at summer clothes and season changes - perhaps style day will help me!

FritziGreenEyes · 29/03/2012 15:48

Ohh, I'm in love with COS again: Bought navy cotton dress, grey loose-fitting T and wedge sandals which look a bit crazy but great and comfortable on. Going to do some watercolouring with DD now, will link later. Smile

Happy birthday to all W&A juniors today!

pickledsiblings · 29/03/2012 16:21

These wedge trainers could be good for me, was thinking of going for the red.

RG, I love that oversized star scarf, sooo much nicer than the GP spot one I bought recently and have totally gone off.

Red, you so need to shop your wardrobe - try different combinations of belts/summer scarves/cardis/sandals with your dresses and different hairstyles too, maybe a new neon clutch would revamp a few dresses.

Amber, make sure you check out the maxi I linked to for you - it has heat resistant cotton and linen Hmm.

Ollie, you can WhatsApp me on DH's iPhone if you like Grin.

Emo, you know you want them...

blue2711 · 29/03/2012 16:35

Happy birthday all the W and A little ones! Hope you're all having a lovely time in the sun.

mrscb I have bought the miss selfridge white skinnies and am wearing them today with the anthropologie chambray shirt. Shame I look like death from the neck up...

Re. maxis I have a fantastic slim jersey black and white stripy dress from new look teenage dept of all places. Like wearing it with a tan belt.

I keep almost buying the Whistles belt too.

Like this dress.

Decameron · 29/03/2012 17:24

Emo, those trousers are hideous!

I'm a big Shopbop fan, you just have to take the risk with the customs charge. Or even better, have it sent to an American friend.

Verity, glad the teacher is being more helpful. Happy birthday to your DD (and the other DC). DD1 has that trench for her mini me moments. Is it sandal weather in Dublin? Doubt I will need Bloss's lovely bikini.

I do love summer dresses but not maxis though I like them on others. I like to get my legs out. :)

RG, nice to see you back. I like the scarf.

I have a similar belt to the Whistles one, I think it is Boden (shh).

Purchases since I was last on, navy Supergas and went to Westfield with a friend last night and bought another Farhi by Nicole Farhi navy and white top, gathered at the waist, don't see it online but House of Fraser have it and I recommend.

Red, hope you have a great holiday. Your DS sounds like a cool little dude.

Hopefully · 29/03/2012 17:45

I have only used shopbop to buy things I had already tried in shops, but it's slightly tiresome otherwise I suppose.

Loving all the maxis. I have a pattern for a nice racer back maxi but have thus far been unable to find the perfect jersey to make it in, so may have to buy one.

Having a nice country walk in the sun with DS2 asleep in the pram and feeling very cheerful. Bloody wish that potential employers would get back to DH re job, but feeling positive about either outcome. Sunshine is good for the soul Smile

MrsCampbellBlack · 29/03/2012 17:47

Love that dress Blue!

Dec - I too have the boden leopard belt and its very nice.

Just ordered the navy petite jersey maxi dress from DP - less than £20!

Hopefully · 29/03/2012 17:52

Red I am Shock and Envy at your wardrobe. I have lost weight since my big spree in January so am back down to 2 pairs of trousers, a handful of tops, 1 pair cheap shorts and a cashmere sweater and cardigan. And the Me & Em dress, of course!

Slay enjoy your spending spree!

blossoming · 29/03/2012 18:04

I agree with you mrscb, brilliant if you are doing a repeat order of something you already have, or for buying something you have already tried on. Have spent £20 on returns today Blush, but would have spent more than that in Chester with parking, coffees, make-up etc so I shouldn't complain.
Feel like I've missed loads today.
Good luck with the party planning verity. DS made rice kripsie cakes in school with a mini egg on top. Would work for a party maybe? Although they do need time to set.
It must be lovely to see all your clothes again red. When are you off?
I am wearing a black tee shirt from Vince and my Agnes right now. I have reverted to my 21 yr old self. I don't mind too much, I was cool then, just didn't appreciate it! Have said it before, but excess weight is the fast track to mumsy for me.
Thanks for your links pickled, will have a good look later.
decam, I'm not sure even Spain is going to be cerise bikini weather!
Bath time..

Decameron · 29/03/2012 18:07

It's good to be prepared, just in case, Bloss. :) Have a good time and hope the sun shines.

Hopefully, that is why I don't do diets!

Slay, am Envy that you are buying the pistols, I want a pair in the autumn.

MarshaBrady · 29/03/2012 18:09

Y shopbop good if tried on already here.

Ollie hilarious.

AmberNectarine · 29/03/2012 18:54

I actually don't mind peplums, find them flattering on my smallish waist, but the description by someone on here as them being 'a bit Vorderman' did make me laugh!

blossoming · 29/03/2012 19:31

Belated happy birthday fle. How crap to be poorly when on leave. My mum would say that it is when you stop that you fall ill. Hopefully it will clear up soon. YY to music and happy memories!

ReineDeSaba · 29/03/2012 20:08

What a brilliant weather week it's been..lucky mini W and Aers to have sunny celebrations.

have been taking advantage of it all by being out and about all week but now worn out and many home jobs left undone!

pickled your styling link really made me laugh..perhaps the model was hiding a big bum!

every sorry you are poorly, get better soon.

zembo I love the phrase portfolio career, much fancier than flighty and the cake pop comment was very funny..I will leave those to thread expert ollie I will post more about my business closer to launch but no-one has guessed right as yet(though really not that thrilling)

I did a primark swoop too this week and found some art deco earrings(hope my ears don't gop black and drop off)and a dalmation print top.also got a taupe scarf with zebras on,so going to check surburban's blog to see if the same as hers.orange pumps sound fab,I had 2 sets of their pumps last summer and wore them into the ground..good not to worry about sandpit damage etc as cheap as chips.

loved the coggles maxi hopefully shame it wasn't 'the one'

fritzi Dh and I have been watching 'The Killing' and I find the subject matter really got under my skin, almost unbearable to watch at times.

ollie we have a big playdate planned for over Easter so I am going to steal verity's easter party theme and use your great ideas.

emo I just like wearing 'easy' dresses in this weather but a work wardrobe for hot weather always bamboozled me.

dec I'm not suprised you like to show off your long legs Envy

red I'm not suprised the workman took a shine to you,you must have made his year!

ollie I thought you meant the dutch mum had made a suggestive comment about your cake popsam angry on your behalf if she was unkind.I have been very careful to 'take it slow' with other parents at DD1's school to avoid being sucked into any nasty cliches but am so thrilled to find they are all superkind and alot of creative types which makes life much more interesting.
