terrified bikini wax virgin

Is it truly awful?
Is a Brazilian all the hair?
Does that include don't think I would want it all gone.

I cannot imagine letting a beauty therapist at that area yet it would be so good not to have to shave.
But also, I am terrified of how sore it might be.

It feels so rude to even ask Blush

just say what you want and what you are comfortable with. a simple bikini wax is probably the best starting point. yes it hurts but only for a second. go for it!

I haven't had one done but yes, waxes remove all the hair, including around your vadge & back!! They either get you on all fours, speeding your bum cheeks, or on your side, legs akimbo. The only wax that leaves bum hair is the French Wax.
I read a woman saying not even her gynaecologist had seen that much of her.
I have had my armpits waxed & it was agony, for a few seconds. I distinctly thought 'HOW can anyone get this done on their genitals?!?!' I would never never never do it. Veet does the job!

Most waxes just tidy up the side - up to you how high you go. Yes, it does hurt and you will need to exfoliate afterwards

Ah, then it is the Brazillion I woudl want, but I think I am still too chicken.
1, for the pain OUCH! and 2, for the embarrassment factor.
Wish I had the guts though.

I have a Brazilian, all off crack and underneath, with a landing strip on top. Have hot wax rather than strip/warm wax, it's a bit uncomfortable but not painful.

I do 'em for a living. They hurt but not THAT much. Make sure the beautician uses 'non-strip' hot wax which hurts about 80% less. I mean, this is non negotiable really. If she doesnt use it go somewhere else.

I would just ask for what you want and be very clear. Lots of people like a kind of extended bikini wax that leaves you with a tidy triangle of hair but doesnt do the labia or ahem bum crack.

And let me just say, bloody dont feel pressurised into having a brazilian or any kind of waxing if you dont fancy it.

I get a brazillian and it is sore..but its over before you know it. Its the anticipation of the wax strip coming off that's the worst. I just prefer it as I feel a lot cleaner and you don't get the itch that you get with shaving.
I have had a Hollywood but it felt too weird having nothing down there..eurgh!
Find a good therapist who knows what she's doing though!

Is it not excruciatingly mortifying putting yourself all out there like that?
A doctor is one thing. I live in a village, I would feel sure that the world would know and think I was .........god, I dunno.

Esmerelada I want the brazillian, but I am as scared as I could possibly be to actually get it done.
Like it is sexual cos it is obviously for my DHHmm but it is, and it isn't. I just prefer it that way. I feel better that way. But obviously the added benefit is that DH rather likes it too Smile

Op I felt exactly the same as you a couple of years ago & had only ever done wax strips myself down there.. finally bit the bullet & went to a professional & have never looked back! So quick & easy, no more bending down trying to do it yourself killing your neck for half an hour.
Don't be embarrassed, either get a recommendation from a friend or just ring up a nice salon and ask what 'grades' of wax they do.. my salon call what I have a mock bikini wax, leaves just a landing strip. And as for showing your bits, u usually keep knickers on for this type and they just ask u to hold them up/away from the area. Seriously they are unfazed by it they do it every day. Mine is a lovely chatty lady & its all over in 15 mins leaves u feeling fab. Good luck :)

It's really nothing to be scared about. I get it done every 4 weeks. If it was that bad waxers wouldn't get repeat clients. They are professional and put you at ease. They aren't going to laugh at your fanny, they've seen it all before.

Just seen u live in a village.. might be more difficult to find a good place. I live in the city so have a v big choice! Is there a bigger town/city u can travel to?

haha, I didn't think they would laugh at it. Maybe at me.
I don't entirely trust my local salon not to discuss me afterward.

Local town, hmm, yeah. But my lil sis friend works there.
And, she gave me an eyebrow wax a while back and it really blimmin hurt!! Plucking was awful, good lord I could, and do, do a better job myself, re pain!

Mind you, DH has just helped me to remember that there is another lady. DD goes to her for Zumba and she seems very gentle and private. Qualities that are appealing to me in this instance.
Mind you then my DDs zumba teacher would have seen my bits Blush

Does it matter? I was the demo model when my best friend did a waxing course. I had to get my fanny out to friend and a couple of her tutors who were critiquing her work! It was fine and I got a free brazilian.

Um.. I use Veet in shower cream, on the triangle & tops of legs & outer bits for 10 mins, when it's been on for 5 mins I put it on..er.. on the other bits. Then just get in shower and use the wee sponge that comes with the cream. I just can't bring myself to have a beautician get right in there!! :o and shaving is horrendous

hurt a lot having it done but the pain after was worse, could barely sit down for about 48 hours and as for having owt next to my fanjo, forget it. was walking like john wayne in low slung tracky bottoms for 2 days. oh the glamour Hmm

and had stubble the NEXT day. was shit IMO.

just shave. or veet.
