For the love of God those Cheerful Soles - my eyes!
Honestly, Op, if you're 25 you really have no need for Clarks.
Old lady shoes in your 20s? Been there, done that - wouldn't recommend.
Good idea to try out new looks, though - as others have said, erm New Look are good for that, or Primark/Topshop etc.
I'm not sure loafers are particularly comfortable, any more than ballet pumps, though - clawing springs to mind. Doesn't stop me from wearing them, but you might not find them as comfy as you think!

Clownsarescary · 07/03/2012 22:18

thenight have they? Shock

I knew I smelt a rat!

petitema · 07/03/2012 22:21

Grannyish.

ShotgunNotDoingThePans · 07/03/2012 22:21

Oh, forgot to say, Primark have leather ballet shoes for £12 atm - can confirm their comfiness (for ballets) - I wear them round the house as slippers.
Soft black or tan leather with bows.

drywhiteplease · 07/03/2012 22:23

Ok now you can get your own back on me!!! I quite like these
carvella

drywhiteplease · 07/03/2012 22:25

Or even these
dune
With 7/8 trs .

BroomForMyChin · 07/03/2012 22:26

Those are a bit too shiny dry. Can you buy primark online? I really hate going into their stores. I think I'm having a style crisis, have no idea how to dress myself anymore.

Don't want to be horrible but they are seriously vile. Everything about them just horrid. So plastic looking too.

BroomForMyChin · 07/03/2012 22:27

I really like the dune ones. That's probably not a good sign though Grin

Say No To Brogues.

Follow this rule, and you shall always be well-shoed.

drywhiteplease · 07/03/2012 22:29

Ballerinas? My staple comfy spring/summer shoe

NorksAreMessy · 07/03/2012 22:31

Hijus!

Kaekae · 07/03/2012 22:31

You might as well go for these whilst you're at it

BroomForMyChin · 07/03/2012 22:46

Hahaha Grin I'm never buying anything without checking on here first. I'll save a fortune.

I have lots of ballet flats dry but I was wanting to be a bit more adventurous. After this thread I think I'm too scared to try anything new so I'll just stick with what I've got.

Hmm need to delete that - anyway Dressipi might be a good start.

BroomForMyChin · 07/03/2012 23:17

I registered with them the other day actually. It has recommended some nice stuff. And at least now I finally know my shape and am determined to stop buying things that don't suit me.

drywhite similar loafers reduced on the KG website in grey patent...I'm tempted but I know you're not buying anything at the moment Wink
Some great bargains on that KG sale site atm...even some nice normal ballerina pumps. My basket has about 6 pairs in but I'm resisting...kind of

drywhiteplease · 08/03/2012 08:36

Stop it ding! V tempted, they're gorgeous but mustn't really and you know, I have this thing about approaching trends you did the first time round with caution. Leggings, ballerinas,I'm doing them again...my god it will be electric blue eyeliner and mascara next!!!!!
