I am Blush I may have to name change.

valiumredhead · 07/03/2012 16:59

I would! Grin

noddyholder · 07/03/2012 17:00

God they are really bad and we do get some corkers on here for our perusal but these definitely win Grin

dingdong3 · 07/03/2012 17:33

Don't worry Broom...I saw them in the campaign photos and they didn't look as bad as everyone's making out! In fact, I just got a promo email from Clarks featuring them. Still wouldn't wear them but it's hard atm...so much dodgy androgynous/granny stuff out there being marketed as on trend. S&B will keep you right :)

MissBeehivingUnderTheMistletoe · 07/03/2012 18:39

Soooo Miss Marple. For the love of God, please step away now Grin

BroomForMyChin · 07/03/2012 18:44

What about these?

clarks again I really want some comfy shoes.

OP posts:
HotBurrito1 · 07/03/2012 18:50

MissBeehiving don't besmirch the Marple! (sorry OP Grin)

hazchem · 07/03/2012 18:58

Just asked OH about the new option he says they are like what my granny wears.

It's like some sort of sickness! I need to stop attempting to copy Alexa Chung it is not working! I tried to copy her hair cut last year that was also a disaster

OP posts:
hazchem · 07/03/2012 19:09

Ok this is totally not like anything you have suggested pg lite I have a pair of these Mary Jane style in white patent) they are the most comfortable shoes i have ever owned. Also every time I wear them i get complements. I've even had someone speed up so she could complements. I know they aren't very trendy:)

BroomForMyChin · 07/03/2012 19:15

That link is taking me to a page with lots of shoes on it hazchem. But thank you for trying to help.

OP posts:
hazchem · 07/03/2012 19:18

opps
OH is looking a bit worried I think he thinks I'm shoe shopping for me!

Chinateacup · 07/03/2012 19:18

At first I thought NOOO! But actually I think they'd look quite good with the "preppy" look. Definitely only with trousers or shorts though, no skirts.

BroomForMyChin · 07/03/2012 19:25

They look comfy hazchem but they aren't very me. I would have put the loafers with a dress/skirt. I clearly have no clue what I'm doing. I'm off to drown my sorrows in some mini eggs.

OP posts:
Chinateacup · 07/03/2012 21:13

Alexa would have them with a skirt. I'm clearly too old and boring!

BelleEnd · 07/03/2012 21:17

OP I got a really nice pair of brogues in Primark for £8- I didn't want to spend a lot on something I wasn't sure would suit me. They're really lovely.

dingdong3 · 07/03/2012 21:19

No way to those cheerful orthopaedic looking ones.... Shock

drywhiteplease · 07/03/2012 21:47

And it's a no from me too

Alexa Cheung looks trendy because she is stick thin and rather gorgeous but I think a lot of the clothes she wears, on normal women, would just look terrible.

I fully expect to be thrown off S and B and onto AIBU for those comments!

BroomForMyChin · 07/03/2012 22:00

That must be where I'm going wrong. Confused I used to be very thin sighs whistfully and I keep forgetting my bones are bigger since having DD plus all that cake for breakfast.

OP posts:
drywhiteplease · 07/03/2012 22:04

No no no broom did not mean you aren't thin! Just don't get her (apart from mulberry bag that is!)
I actually like the loafer revivals.will find you some.
P.s can I have a mini egg please ?!

BroomForMyChin · 07/03/2012 22:11

I have eaten them all Blush but I have a few Jaffa cakes left that you can help yourself too if your quick.

OP posts:
Clownsarescary · 07/03/2012 22:13

I like brogues. I love tan brogues. But they'd look like you'd got them from the NHS. Grin

UnnamedFemaleProtagonist · 07/03/2012 22:16

I wear brogues every day with my tights and shorts. Generally MN thinks that I should leave. I don't like your ones and will stick with my £8 primarni ones. I am 37 BTW but look 10 years younger apparently

thenightsky · 07/03/2012 22:17

Why have Clarkes started naming their shoes after NHS Choose and Book passwords? [worried]
