Here it is here Cant find it on their website but googled and this article shows it fairly well (first dress on slideshow). It is incredible on, flattering and comfy and a great length. And £20. This never happens to me Grin

I bought two dresses and a nice blazer/jacket from Sainsburys last week. And a fab tan handbag. They often have nice stuff in.

Sparkletastic · 06/03/2012 12:29

ohhhhhh me like

Gillybobs · 06/03/2012 12:32

Nice innit? Im a 14/16 and its v v forgiving on the curves....
Planning to wear with leggings and a little navy jersey blazer until the sun finally appears

kaumana · 06/03/2012 12:33

I looked at that dress yesterday, do you think it would go with navy leggings and brown flats?

Gillybobs · 06/03/2012 12:34

YY "kaumana" Im going to wear with navy leggings and some cream and navy ballet pumps

kaumana · 06/03/2012 12:56

Ooh, I bought that today too. A great spring dress for SpringsSmile There's tons of them in the sainsburys in Whitechapel in London in case anyone's interested!

countessbabycham · 06/03/2012 19:53

Thats gorgeous!

I want!

Gillybobs · 06/03/2012 20:19

Exactly jumpinghoops I think its swatches between navy and oxford blue.

AgentProvocateur · 06/03/2012 21:00

What material is it? I find jersey a bit too unforgiving on my lumps and bumps.

Gillybobs · 06/03/2012 21:13

So do I normally but its really heavy jersey so very smoothing and flattering

mirpuppet · 06/03/2012 23:04

How will you accessorize the dress? What shoes? Cardi? Jacket? Anything to keep legs warm?

GreenEyesAndHam · 06/03/2012 23:08

Ha!

I popped in to Sainsbo's tonight for milk and bread and came out with that dress Grin

I love it, but I did find that it clings a little around the tum area- when I first put it on I had a stripes under the stomach/ stripes over thing going on, but a little artful fouffing sorted that

gladyoucame · 07/03/2012 13:26

I bought this today too! I'm also a spring and thought ruching was good and meant you could adjust length and ruching to suit! They also had bright jeans and bright tops. Not too keen on Gok stuff though.

Hassled · 07/03/2012 13:28

Sainsburys do have some really nice stuff. There will be racks and racks of awfulness, and then something randomly lovely.

toomuchmonthatendofthemoney · 07/03/2012 13:37

Think I might take a trip into sainsbos this weekend!!

messmonster · 07/03/2012 14:11

I am such a sheep Smile. Just bought this dress and will report back once I've tried it on although as a curvy 14/16 like Gillybobs I have high hopes! Also bought their red skinny jeans to try.

At the same time I returned the awful Gok pencil skirt that I bought on Saturday and wore to work yesterday. The fabric is rubbish - went a bit baggy on the bum and over the knee area and looked like I'd had it 5 years knocking around on the floor of my wardrobe rather than just having been worn for 6 hours. V disappointed cos gave me a great silhouette.

Geordieminx · 07/03/2012 17:52

Have bought also.

Not sure how it would look with navy leggings though, 2 different shades of blue bit dodgy?

belgo · 07/03/2012 17:53

Sainsbury's have great clothes, for adults and for children.

FreakoidOrganisoid · 07/03/2012 17:59

I saw that dress earlier, I like it Smile

Frontpaw · 07/03/2012 18:01

I like it! Wats the fabric like though? Nothing worse than seeing a yummy dress then feeling the fabric and it's like dishcloths.

Gillybobs · 07/03/2012 18:48

Fabric is decent weight Frontpaw , Ive a fair few lumps and bumps and I think/hope I look fine. I will probably wear big pants mind you.

mirpuppet I will wear with navy leggings and a cropped navy jersey blazer for spring. Then just with tan sandals in summer, fingers crossed

I bought this the other day! Tried on a 14, but it was baggy over the tum, so bought a 12. I fear this may have been an error on the tits and arse front. And there'll be no more 14s anywhere in the land, thanks to this thread!

messmonster · 07/03/2012 20:15

Just tried mine on and sadly it's going back (so that will be another 14 on the rack for someone else Smile) Loved the fabric, good weight and draped nicely but the stripes went vertical across my norks and just looked awful. I am big of nork and so a high neck is always a risk but this just made me look huge up top. Waist, hips, bum and legs looked good and I thought it was v forgiving on lumps and bumps.
