I bought http://m.dorothyperkins.com/mt/www.dorothyperkins.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?beginIndex=0&viewAllFlag=&catalogId=33053&storeId=12552&productId=2624441&langId=-1&categoryId=&searchTerm=Coat&pageSize=20 this coat last November with a gift card I got for my birthday. Was really pleased with it and hoped it would last at least 2 years. However the zip broke yesterday and I had to take it back. They asked if I'd like to swap it for another but only had a size 8 and they're out of stock everywhere. I've got a £40 gift card and can probably stretch to about £40 on top of that - it needs to be from a store within the Arcadia group or under £40 - and pretty similar to that one so I don't look like a marshmallow or like I'm about to muck out the horses

can anyone help?

That link again for you

Fitted style, arcadia group, not similar though
Available in 18 at BHS Nothing much at Evans

Thanks so much, I tried to link it again but DS woke up and started screeching cos he wanted to play with my phone :-)

its a size 12 that I need. Funnily enough I just looked at that one, it's nicer than a lot I've seen but not sure it's me. Think I need a shopping trip but fed up with spending £15 on rail fares plus lunch only to find nothing I like and come home empty handed with fussy baby (let's face it I love buying things but we both hate shopping)

thank you, I'll keep looking and hopefully find something before the weather warms up

Ah the first said size 20 in your link.

Another thought though - if you bought it in November and it's broken now, you should be getting a refund, not a gift card, as it is not fit for purpose.

Or buy some jeans from Topshop with it if you don't want to make them refund you. They really should though, legally.

Oh they did I just paid half debit card half gift card so I got a refund the same method

Oh good. Fair enough then. I like a good rant about goods not being fit for purpose Grin
