Hi everyone. Come and join in with your lovely links to autumn/winter clothes!

Annie, I forgot to answer you about the Gap cord jeggings, I think that they would work better as trousers than under dresses.

NY, really like the sound of the lace pencil skirt.

Where is the sun we were promised?

Ollie, glad you have a new skirt on order.

Amber :) I do laugh to myself when I walk past Crazy Larry's on my way to Gambados or to look at furniture, all grown up now!

Rufus, Chapter One, I am jealous.

Red, the Whistles 20% off code is WH20AW11. I was about to blatantly copy you, Ants, and order that blouse but it is sold out in my size online.

redllamayellowllama · 27/09/2011 13:23

Am in Whistles trying to decide whether jumpermakes me look bulky and if i'll wear peter pan collartop. Want me to get the blouse for you Carciofi?

carciofi · 27/09/2011 13:24

Red, thanks for offering but have just phoned my nearest branch and they are holding it for me. I love Peter Pan collars and doubt you could look bulky.

blossoming · 27/09/2011 13:25

Very sunny here. Ds asleep. Am wading through paperwork for new schools and life. Very dull. Trying not to be distracted by looking at clothes etc

roary · 27/09/2011 13:41

Carciofi, is that code online or in store or both? I am also keen to buy the blouse :)

carciofi · 27/09/2011 13:49

Bloss, give it back!
Roary, both online and instore (with the Graza coupon).

carciofi · 27/09/2011 13:50

GrazIa :)

notyummy · 27/09/2011 13:53

Have had to forcibly remove myself from vicinity of shops to ensure no more spending. Bought dd a dress in the Monsoon sale and myself some goodies in L'Occitane and THAT IS IT!! Now between meetings and reading Grazia with a bowl of soup before meeting ex-colleagues for ostensibly a work/policy meeting but in reality a chance to eat cake and gossip.

Glorious morning in Lincolnshire followed by gloom in London, but now the sun is out- which is good as I painted my toenails specially Grin.

This morning was a working parents nightmare. Early start, other half away (again...), mothers help on holiday. Etc etc. Luckily my lovely friend from NCT group was able to have DD over at 7am for breakfast and then take her to the 'Early Birds' Club at school. I owe her one!
Think I may wear one of new purchases to MU. Will have big trying on session tomorrow and decide.

PORTIA4 · 27/09/2011 14:42

Afternoon Ladies, no sun here either!
Today am wearing P8 camel coloured trews ,Zara butterfly scarf and camel coloured cardi with brown suede Prada kitten heels, bit boring - I really need to organise my wardrobe.
I have been keeping a low profile after my day trip to London last week- when I got to the airport to come home I discovered my return date was 24th not 22nd! So I had to ring Dh and get him to reschedule Friday morning, which meant him missing a very important meeting ! I got home on Friday and have been grovelling in mortification ever since!
I haven't had the nerve to mention the 8th MU yet!
Lots of lovely links, but I'm staying out of the shops for the moment!

moragbellingham · 27/09/2011 16:26

popping in briefly from months of lurking to say that this sequin skirt here is a bit of a steal (quality prob not great but at a price/wear?). Fritzi, did you buy one some months ago or resist?

IceCreamCastles · 27/09/2011 17:43

Dashing in to rejoice that maternity leighs have arrived and are awesomely comfy and I don't think they look too bad. This is a rare occurrence so I am skipping around the house (avoiding boxes)

Will report on rest of orders later.

Hope everyone has a good evening.

notyummy · 27/09/2011 18:38

Hi all - links from my haul today.

I bought this skirt.

And this jumper. It is actualy silver and looks good!

I also tried on this skirt and nearly bought, as it is flattering on and looks great in real life. I decided I wouldn't get as much wear out of it in the end.

Also tried on this dress but it wasnt flattering for me. Also tried this and it looked frou frou and wrong on me.

On to Top Shop wear I bought this dress which oddly thick waisted in the pics, but good in real life.

I also bought this jumper that interestingly the reviewer on the site wasn't keen on because it is brighter green in real life....which is what attracted me too it!

I tried on a black pencil skirt but have decided that if I do buy one I will go slightly more up market and spend a bit of money on a tailored one as I think I will potentially wear for a while.

I also tried on this dress and would recomend to the more petite of you as the print is great. It is short though, and I am not. The shop assistant was raving about it on me, but the combination of short, tight and zebra print felt all a bit Pretty Woman before the transformation to me, so I declined! If it had been 3 inches longer (or I was 3 inches shorter...) then I might have been tempted!

notyummy · 27/09/2011 18:39

Apolgies for the rambling and poor grammar in the last post - quite difficult to read Blush.

notyummy · 27/09/2011 18:42

God, I even managed a typo in the apology. There is no hope.....

FritziGreenEyes · 27/09/2011 19:33

Sorry have missed to much and won't be able to catch up with all posts. Have randomly clicked on links and so many lovely things! Smile

morag Thanks for directing me towards the sequin skirt. It's gorgeous and such a bargain but only available in an 8. Plus I'm still hankering after this feather skirt and sadly there are not that many opportunities for party wear. Will try on next week and see if it works.

I'm in love with so many clothes right now! Could someone please buy and wear this as I can't do gold. Or do we think it is too Ferrero Rocher?

This poncho-jumper could be nice but would need to check colour in RL.

If only this coat wasn't asymmetric I would so snap it up Red lifts my mood immediately. Even DH noticed that I wear my red jeans a lot!

red I thought this might be our winter Vince jumper but is too polyestery for me.

FritziGreenEyes · 27/09/2011 19:36

bloss Reading about your DS's birthday party made me Angry and Sad. Maybe would be a good idea to have special treat birthdays with only a few select friends. Will keep in mind for when DD is a bit older. Have observed some bitchiness among her friends at school and it is terrible...

fleecy Soooo excited for you!!! Hope you'll hold your little one in your arms soon!

PORTIA4 · 27/09/2011 19:55

I love that poncho Fritzi, although I agree it's hard to tell what the colour would be like.
Morag that's a great skirt, I wish I had the Lifestyle!
As per usual, fab shopping NY.

Ambernj1 · 27/09/2011 20:15

Hello all

Had to make use of the discount so bought this skirt today. Will be v useful for A/W I think. Also tried and liked this sweatshirt but they didn't have my size so will order online. Also tried this dress but they only had a 12 which was massive - I suspect vanity sizing...

Also went into Question Air for a drool where I fell in love with these shoes and this coat. May get the shoes, coat a bit over budget :(

DH working late again, sigh. Luckily I have my friend Sky+ for company...

OllieinOrange · 27/09/2011 20:27

Mousse cake on GBBO tonight, droool and now iced buns - one of my all time favourite things to eat!!!

They've all got blogs so i can a quick read of them earlier - Mary Anne has a Dutch hubby!!! I think she will win it. Gotta love Janet and her bung it in attitude tho! Apparently they all got on really well which is nice to hear.

NY thank you for the lovely links, love the skirt and jumper. Shame about the green dress as that colour would look amazing on you.
Fritzi that red coat would be stunning if it had an even hemline. Agree with having birthday treats once kids are a bit older. I still remember taking 2 friends ice skating and then to see ET at the cinema for my 9th bday!

DH just rescued me from the grip of a huge spider, well it was in the fireplace but it was big! I do love him when he does manly things like that!

Fleecy · 27/09/2011 21:00

Ooh fritzi I was looking at that cape/jumper today. I rather like it.

Good haul ny and I particularly love the metallicy jumper - fancy it in the gold for me but they only have it online in a large. Boo!

amber am rather too dependent on Sky+ myself, even though DH is usually here Blush

portia has your DH forgiven you yet? Grin

blossoming · 27/09/2011 21:05

Yes that was the plan for this year. Treat was the mountain biking on Saturday. He was going to invite a close friend (who has moved class sadly), but I stupidly said, best invite the twins too (CM's kids), and one other spoilt horrible boy (I know that now). Never again.

Sounds like you had a fab day notyummy. Great shopping. I really admire your organizational skills.

I also bought the lkb plum cardigan on Saturday and it arrived today with the blouse as they were sourced from elsewhere. It is much more cosy than last years version and can be worn closed as a top with buttons undone. I cannot wait for my skirt to arrive hemmed to above the knee!

Ambernj1 · 27/09/2011 21:14

Oh yes, meant to say, fab haul NY, particularly like the lace skirt!

redllamayellowllama · 27/09/2011 21:20

Meant to be working, but too many lovely links not to comment on them. Amber I came very close to buying that skirt today too, but went for the the green jumper and the peter-pan collared top. I could have bought the whole place out though, felt positively restrained.
Some amazing shopping NY, polka dress is my fave I think.
Oops Portia - how do you think DH will take the MU news..?!
So close Fritzi, but definitely looks like it is one that will set teeth on edge.
Fleecy all this thought of a newborn is making me a little broody. SO excited for you.
Good news on the jeans Icey - will make all the difference having a pair you love over the coming months, am sure.
DH has OFSTED in school tomorrow and Thursday and I can hear him effing and blinding next door as he works on strategies and stellar lesson plans. Poor guy.

notyummy · 27/09/2011 21:30

Like the green jumper Red.
