Looks good Red.

redllamayellowllama · 19/09/2011 14:59

Ooh nice (see how you lure me in??). They'd look good with a fedora and maxi. I'm coming over all Stevie Nicks.

annie which boots do you have? I have the studded cowboy ones and dp loves them !

notyummy · 19/09/2011 15:12

My mum had a red pair like that (plain leather though, not suede) from the 70s that I used to borrow in 85/86 when my feet still fitted them!

Noddy, I am not putting my red jeans away either.

Annie, I like that Zara boat neck sweater, may have to order it in red. :)

Red, I tried the cords on in a local shop before I ordered them from Revolve (returning to the US is a pain in the ass). They are really nice on, very fitted, not mumsy at all (I hope!).

DDs in bed now, phew.

ireallyagreewithyou · 19/09/2011 19:28

ther is a red jeans blog.
that strikes fear into my heart
look at my fucking red trousers

ireallyagreewithyou · 19/09/2011 19:29

when i grow up im going to be the Headless Woman of Zara.

carciofi · 19/09/2011 19:36

That blog is hilarious.

ireallyagreewithyou · 19/09/2011 19:37

JL belt indistinguishable imo
and the black one came - is loverly

redllamayellowllama · 19/09/2011 19:41

Ireally the red trousers blog is bloody brilliant. That would be right up my sister's street. See her hair blog here.

Ollie the stew was amazing and good thing it goes a long way as my two cousins popped in (they're from SA but are over and decided to travel the West. Impromptu or what?!) and ended up eating too. Even the DCs loved it.

Carciofi am tempted by those Cords as an alternative to the skinnies (although, ahem, a slightly more pricey offering than the teal skinnies). Was bemoaning my constant wearing of jeans the other day - anything else feels too formal and inappropriate for a day with the DC. How was the sizing?

carciofi · 19/09/2011 20:11

Damn, just lost a post. Anyway, size down, I am a 29, sometimes a 30 and the 28 fit well. Yep, they are more expensive but they are sooooo nice on.

carciofi · 19/09/2011 20:16

oh and if you order from Revolve, the code "tulip" gives an extra 10% off so they came to £110, and I think customs will be about £20. So £70 cheaper or so than buying here.

redllamayellowllama · 19/09/2011 20:22

Where do you get your wealth of codes from?! Thank you - will need to wait till the end of the month, so shall keep the page open and return to them as I make my mind up. The wine and the blue look good alongside one another - a wine coloured knit would like nice with, no?

OllieinOrange · 19/09/2011 22:08

I have a winter coat quandary. Already have a down coat from Zara which is lovely and long (mid calf length) and came into its own last winter and kept me toasty. Trouble is its black and washes me out completely. Have been looking out for a navy or grey replacement and have found this Aigle one navy one here

Like the look of it but it looks a fair bit shorter than my Zara one - maybe knee length or just above. This seems to be the case with lots of similar down coats around at the mo. Not sure whether to stick with the black one or get the blue one and get used to the shorter length - or even just keep looking! Does all that make sense? Any thoughts?

Pickled did you think i was going to link to a Karen Millen coat Smile. Google conker crafts - there is a really cool Captain Jack Sparrow conker man your dd could make!
Red please the fish dish was a hit with everyone.
Annie you are on fire today with your links! I too like the Zara jumper.
apuski great about the other job, funny how things work out like that sometimes.

I have that JL belt too ireally, tis great and a bargain I think.

Low key S&B wise here - have a night out on Thurs and am considering the Monsoon lace shoes WIT was wearing last week. Also dithering between a couple of knit dresses. Ordered purple drapey jersey top with my £15 voucher, so hopefully that will prove useful.

Feeling uber glam tonight in Primark PJs (bought to accomodate pregnant backside, but can't seem to let go) with hiking socks. If there is one area that definitely needs a refresh it is my nightwear selection!

ollie hope you have cheered up!

annie great links, very avid!
