Has anyone seen a soft leopard print cardigan not too bulky more for over sleeveless tops and vests etc. Bought a lovely tartan fitted shirt in zara and a black sleeveless vest with gold on front and gold exposed zip and some ash boots Just need cardi and then no more spending!!!!

ireallyagreewithyou · 19/09/2011 11:48

short or long?
i got the oasis one

noddyholder · 19/09/2011 11:50

Short and fitted I like that one oasis is in another part of town to zara so I never go there! Will go this week Is it thin?

noddyholder · 19/09/2011 11:51

thanks will take a look

pickledsiblings · 19/09/2011 12:32

Annie and Marsha, Zara chunky knit here but can't seem to see it for purchase.

wideawakenurse · 19/09/2011 12:47

Back from the GP. Have been signed off for the week, and ordered to have some R&R from a very lovely and supportive Doctor.

Thanks for the advice about fluids. On the way home from getting my prescription, I bought lots of fruit and water in M&S and also some magazines. Looking forward to an afternoon of doing nothing!

Great belt Marsha. Did anyone get the ponyskin zebra print one from Whistles in the end? It was gorgeous.

I know what you all mean about the chunky knit on WIT, just does not sit right on her, too bulky with the belt.

pickledsiblings · 19/09/2011 12:48

WAN, sorry to hear that you are feeling unwell. Probably best to be at home, just like the doctor ordered. Hope you get well soon.

Hey ladies. I am being Buzz Lightyear here (DD1 is Toy Story obsessed) but snuck off for a cup of tea.

Annie, I agree with your dh, keep the boots.

Fritizi, glad you enjoyed your reunion.

Wan, get some rest, stack up on the magazines and mint tea. I was tempted to buy that belt but got a plain red leather one from CdeC instead.

Ollie, glad you had a good time. I like that Mulberry bag, give the photo to your dh! I like the staff in the Westfield branch, I always go in for a chat!

Lovely top, Gilly and Ollie.

NY, you have such fun with your DD, can't wait until my girls are old enough to do things like that. That was so nice of that couple to give your dd the toy.

Red, hope your dh cheers up soon. You looked gorgeous at your friend's wedding. I like Polarn O'Pyret for little boys, they sometimes have 20% discounts if you sign up for the newsletter.

Rufus, well done on the half marathon!

Don't think the belt works with Wit's cable knit sweater either. I ordered a black cable knit from Pure Collection, still waiting for the NF arctic parka to come into stock and for my Current Elliot cords to arrive from the US.

I am quite tempted by the LK Bennett Annina bag at the moment too.

Are Hunter boots true to size?

DD1 is summoning me.

redllamayellowllama · 19/09/2011 14:01

Sounds like a very sensible doctor WAN, be sure to follow orders!

Thanks for the compliment Carciofi - I also felt it for the first time in ages. You're getting off lightly there; apparently i'm Bullseye.

Am getting a lot of wear from my Berry Baxters and now have my eye on a lovely teal pair in Warehouse. The gaps in my wardrobe are narrowing - still have an eye open for a maxi, a short black skirt (possibly pleated) and a winter coat. Have steered away from the Reiss one and am now toying with a duffle coat.

notyummy · 19/09/2011 14:07

Red - re winter maxis. Well, at the moment I am still drawing out the summer ones as it is just about warm enough for them - however that will change within the next 2 weeks I suspect!! I find that boots and chunky knit/ribbed tights work well with most winter maxis. Wedge boots, flat ankle boots or knee high boots (either flat or heeled) look good with them IMHO. I struggle with the right shoes so stick to boots with them. Need to get the proportion right for the jacket - either fairly short and fitted to the waist/hip or proper long winter coat.

Red, I'd really rather be Jessie. Quite like her cowgirl chic! Teal jeans sound great. I'd like these blue Current/Elliots but waiting for the wine coloured ones to turn up first.

redllamayellowllama · 19/09/2011 14:28

Oooh they're rather lovely Carciofi - report back on the fit when the wine ones arrive (equally lovely). Have never done cords before as have always thought them Mumsy, but those are anything but.

Thanks NY - I love the sound of all of that in principle, just need to find 'the' maxi. Some nice pleated jersey ones in Warehouse, but am still traumatised after trying on one of the Carrie skirts in Whistles...

redllamayellowllama · 19/09/2011 14:28

And yes, who wouldn't want to be Jessie?!

wideawakenurse · 19/09/2011 14:39

Thanks all, yes I am taking the advice and am on the sofa as I type with nice snacks, magazines and of course MN!

I just looked at the those jeans red, great colour.

notyummy · 19/09/2011 14:40

Red - - Pleats eh? They are tricky I think. I have ordered a pleated skirt and fear I may have a 'does my bum look big in this?.....YES!' moment when trying on. That said, jersey may have a more fluid hang and therefore not add 'volume' to the hips/bottom (which I certainly don't need....)

redllamayellowllama · 19/09/2011 14:52

This is the one NY, I think it would be a good starting point. They've got some other lovely colours, but I feel a little odd when my bottom half is too bright. Think you're right about the pleats in that material. It would appear that Warehouse is going to be my first port of call come payday. Speaking of which, I am meant to be using DD's nap time to be productively working whilst DS is at nursery...

redllamayellowllama · 19/09/2011 14:56

These ones WAN? Nice, hey? Although not a fan of the 80's styling in the picture, some serious camel-toe concerns.
