What's your best make-up / hair tip?

I need to freshen up my look, am stuck in a rut with hairstyle and make up. But I don't really know where to start!

Anyone got any styling tips to share?

glad you like wheatsheaf. also bought another new neutral NO7 eyeshadow today starry lights. also bought a shimmering blue eyeliner from them as well.

I don't get on with liquid eyeliner and always use a pencil.
