Tara PT looks amazing - a brilliant colour. I saw her recently before her nose sort of changed and she does look stunning in RL.

blossoming · 29/04/2011 10:14

Have I missed loads? Had to pop into town. BBC1 morag. fearne's eye make up the clincher for me.

Good Morning.

Posting from hotel room. Good hotel, spent some time in the pool and spa when we got here. Then out for dinner and drinks last night. Saw some shocking outfit choices in Cardiff last night.

Hope everyone has a lovely morning watching the wedding and all the DC's have fun too.

Watching with interest as to what Kate goes for. My money is on temperly. Floaty, soft an wafty.

blossoming · 29/04/2011 11:11

I am in bits.

A few pics on my profile - the best dd and I could do between us!

MrsCampbellBlack · 29/04/2011 11:43

Oh so beautiful and what utterly amazing music.

Have shed a few tears.

notyummy · 29/04/2011 12:19

We are watching it delayed on sky plus. LOVE the dress- MacQueen! She looks stunning and the music makes me cry ..... Now I truly am Miss Havisham weeping in my wedding dress Grin

Dd loving it- just got told off for fast forwarding through the whole Royal Family arriving bit.

notyummy · 29/04/2011 12:34

Sorry, I can't help myself. WHAT are Beatrice and Eugenie wearing?

MrsCampbellBlack · 29/04/2011 12:38

Those girls really need some help fashion-wise

MrsCampbellBlack · 29/04/2011 12:39

Must say generally I thought the more muted colour palette of guests worked better

NY - you and DD look lovely by the way

VerityBrulee · 29/04/2011 12:48

Oh I enjoyed that so much! Shed a tear as she walked down the aisle.

Kate looked beautiful, I loved Pippas dress. Did you see the flower girls in little capes when they got back to the palace? Adorable.

Agree, poor beatrice and eugenie need a stylist.

NY yourself and dd are beautiful!

OllieWollieWoo · 29/04/2011 13:25

How lovely. Thought Kate was wonderful throughout - liked her dress and make up but LOVED Pippas bridesmaid dress - amazing style and fit - in another setting could have easily been a stunning brides dress iykwim. Thought mrs M looked v chic but could have got away with a shade or two darker no?
I shead more than a few tears. Loved it how relaxed Harry and William were in the Abbey and thought Kates brother did the reading brilliantly.
Not seen VB or TPT yet. Hope there is some sort of fashion round up later! Really liked the way the BBc fashion expert squealed when they confirmed the dress was a MQueen!

FritziGreenEyes · 29/04/2011 13:42

I started blubbing as soon as Kate got in the car, oh dear [cblush].

I think she looked very beautiful and how I wish my wedding dress would have been anything like Pippa's dress!

notyummy Lovely photos: You have such a stunning figure and your DD is super-cute!

blossoming · 29/04/2011 14:02

Just gorgeous notyummy.
I'm playing catch-up, had to pause for roast lamb lunch!

Two traditional Welsh hymns, that's what got me, and William whispering 'I love you' and 'you're beautiful' when she turned up.
I love her dress and Pippa's, what a figure!

VB, wtf was that pony tail?

We just had our own personal Lancaster flypast! We live close to the airfield where they all take off to do the Royal flypast and so it has just got back and done a low level circuit over the town. Everyone was out in their back gardens clapping. It looked fab.

Am out of wedding dress!! Thanks for the compliments. Not the most practical of garments though!

MarshaBrady · 29/04/2011 14:58

Beautiful dress, she looked fabulous. Loved Prince William's uniform.

VB's shoes too much.

But good show all round.

NY great pics!

OllieWollieWoo · 29/04/2011 15:02

Just watching the recap and blubbing again!

moragbellingham · 29/04/2011 16:01

Quite sad it's all finished now.

Did like the recap to Andy Williams Happy Heart (from Shallow Grave?) and them driving off in the Aston Martin.Aaah.

OllieWollieWoo · 29/04/2011 16:05

My sister said that lady Sraha Armstrong Jones (now Chatto) looked amazing - missed seeing her and can't find a pic!
Really should try and feed DSs now - they have lived off snacks all day as I've been a little distracted!

FritziGreenEyes · 29/04/2011 18:29

DH home early tonight, so we cracked open the Prosecco! Just watched the Aston Martin-bit and we all went "ahhh" Smile. DD really tucked into dinner tonight as she only had some snacks (fruit also!) during the day Blush.

pickledsiblings · 30/04/2011 11:04

Another one here who didn't feed the children well yesterday.

I found the whole thing very moving and I agree with Marsha, jolly good show all round.

NY, I love the close up of you and DD, cherished memories in the making Smile.

I am not feeling very perky today despite it being bright and sunny outside. I am psyching myself up for the in-law Christening tomorrow.
I might wear black j brands with sparkly flats in the end. Not like me, but I know I'll be running around after dcs all day, playing goalie outside to avoid great uncle X, changing nappies.. Not a day for heels and Bec. So with the black bloss top, sparkly scarf and Pure jacket for draughty chapel.
Subject to change..!

notyummy · 30/04/2011 14:00

Afternoon all! Hope you feel more perky later Bloss. DD out to an 'adventure park' birthday party from 10am to 3pm today- that explicitly said 'no parents please because we cant afford to pay for you!' So DH and I have double shredded and just been out for leisurely lunch. Am wearing bargain Oasis skinny combats and stripey top with wedges. DH not sure about the trousers to begin with, but when I put the stripey top on, he said 'ah, that's better!'

Off out to party tonight and have narrowed the clothing options down to 2 maxis or Gap coated skinnies and blouse.

Hope you are all having good days.
