All of the good ones are a bit pricey, hey? LKB range is lovely, this Jigsaw one is nice. Also, I quite rate the John Lewis Woman range here. Am no good with colours, so apologies if these are frustrating due to their not being right.

Tweed blazer unlikely, unless you fancy a punt on eBay?

Hi katy1katy - the fashionspy blog says exactly the same thing about the dress today here. Seems so silly getting a dress into the UK press and then not stocking it in the UK!
Was it you who posted the DP discount code - if so, thank you, I have some shorts and some cargo t's winging their way to me!

OllieWollieWoo · 17/05/2011 16:30

Ooh - was it this one?
here
If so, I can see if I can hold of one for you over here (the Netherlands?)

Sizing is tiny on the lkb cardigan. I am going to a school coffee evening with 'musical items' tonight. I might wear Sam Cam lite: black blazer, black skinnies, black lkb cardigan buttoned, and scarf worn wrapped round neck. With pewter flats and find a more jazzy scarf tomorrow in Ch. I really want a flat cap now but know I will be laughed out of town.

Sorry to hear that katy. Really crap.

Hi all
Feeling decidedly fluey, and hormonal, and weepy on account of losing a house in sealed bid process....aargghh. Anyway, onwards and upwards. It has been really stressful.
Have consoled myself by buying an armchair for our bedroom. Yes, ...really Hmm Its a very nice Georgian covered in old linen.

Bloss, I do tend to channel SamCam's 'look' you mentioned a fair bit here. Really like it. I love blazers - Crew have a lovely white fitted one which I am coveting...

Ooh, I 'found' a pair of jeans I'd forgotten I had purchased a few months ago - Gap 'sexy boot' style (naff name), but looked lovely, slightly slim flare shape - wore with Jigsaw wedged t bar sandals and looked great together.

Off to make a quick spag bol for les enfants...

OllieWollieWoo · 17/05/2011 16:50

Katy - have PM''d you.

OllieWollieWoo · 17/05/2011 16:51

I love the sound of the Sam Cam pic - any chance of a link?

dolceebanana · 17/05/2011 16:52

Katy - I saw the FC dress too and thought Wow!

DCs having hair chopped here tomorrow Bloss. DS can barely see!!!!

carciofi · 17/05/2011 17:07

I wanted to buy that dress too. Annoying that they are not stocking it here.

carciofi · 17/05/2011 17:09

Dolcee, sorry you didn't get the house.

OllieWollieWoo · 17/05/2011 17:22

Dolcee so sorry about the house and the effect its had on you. Love the sound of the chair. I have a 20% off Crew code for that jacket that may help as a pick me up Smile???

blossoming · 17/05/2011 17:22

Yes, sorry here too dolcee.
Ah, the Crew blazer, I remember it well!

ollie, found the pic! In your favourite DM! Scroll down a bit here!

It's only when you google Sam Cam photos you realise how stylish she was. I don't like her new style so much.

notyummy · 17/05/2011 18:21

Sorry to hear about the house Dolcee.

redllamayellowllama · 17/05/2011 18:51

Sorry about the house Dolcee, must have been so disappointing. Chair sounds gorgeous.

Bravo OWW.

Off to meet my sisters for a drink, which will turn into a wedding planning gala I think. I can't bear to take these red jeans off, so am trying to glam them up a bit. If only i'd ordered the glads yesterday, with next day delivery. Coulda woulda shoulda.

PORTIA4 · 17/05/2011 19:17

Dolce so sorry to hear about the house , I always try to be philosophical about property and think that things have a strange way of working out.
Bloss I too love that Sam Cam look, could you get away with a trilby rather than a flat cap? Or will hats in principal be laughed at?
OWW hope that DS is starting to heel.

FritziGreenEyes · 17/05/2011 19:39

Another meltdown at bedtime today. DD is sooooo excited because it is her birthday on Sunday. While I can understand that this is THE most important thing when you are about to turn five, I just get more exhausted each day. Think a glass of chilled white wine is in order now.

FritziGreenEyes · 17/05/2011 19:52

I know this is not appropriate to post on a S&B thread but how can I get our chaotic house into shipshape before the weekend when my parents and sister arrive? I have piles of laundry, every room is a mess and the thought of starting to tidy makes me want to cry. I have only time to do it when DD is at home in the afternoons. Plus we have no cleaner at the moment, sigh.

DH also asked me kindly to clear out the boot of my car so he can load in the summer tyres and get them changed at the garage Blush. I feel like such a slob. Wearing my new houlis makes me marginally feel better though Smile.

FritziGreenEyes · 17/05/2011 20:14

dolcee Sorry to hear about the house. It is terrible getting up your hopes, decorating the place and placing the furniture in your imagination already and then it is gone. Keeping my fingers crossed that you'll be lucky next time.

MarshaBrady · 17/05/2011 20:14

Today as been hmmm. Having a g&t.
